A real bike shop offering knowledgeable, friendly service and advice. New bikes, bicycle repair. Has a stock of delivery and other box bikes as well as other specialty bikes not found elsewhere. Dealer for Virtue bikes. Has a few museum pieces and good stories to tell. Good prices. Good stock of parts and supplies.

Solid tune up. Even if I can do it myself, I'm way more confident the bike is on point when the guys at Ye Olde do it. Tune up is Worth it $-$$

The front end of my lowrider beach cruiser was in need of a tune. I called ahead and asked if they could do a quick check to see what was wrong, and the woman was very friendly and told me to stop by so they could take a look.

When I arrived, the woman I spoke with on the phone greeted me and directed her mechanic to my bike. He instantly knew what the issue was. He provided me with a spacer for the neck and installed it quickly free of charge. This stopped my front end from feeling loose and off balance when I would make turns. I am thankful to have a shop nearby that is so helpful and accommodating. Support local small businesses and visit Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe for all your bicycle needs.

I received a free bike that needed (from my own estimate and part research) at LEAST a couple hundred in repairs. I didn't have the time to fix it on my own, so I decided to take it here after reading the great reviews. Jennifer was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and had a repair estimate for me within 5 minutes of arriving. She quoted me about $200 less than I was expecting to spend, and accurately listed everything I knew needed obvious work.
As it stands, I'd recommend Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe to anybody; I'll be updating my review once repairs are finished on my bike.

UPDATE: this update is two years late, but that's only because that's how long their work was good for before I inevitably needed another repair. They had finish my bike in just a few days and for an incredible price. Go here!

Best service and prices in SD! I dropped my bike off for a tune-up prior to going out of town for a week. They were ok with holding on to the bike for me until I got back. They even allowed me to order a part online and have it shipped to their store to install. The only place I'll go for my bike needs

Super friendly, and knowledgeable staff, and fast service. When I had problem on my bike after a tune up they fixed it free of charge no question asked. Highly recommend

I arrived and was helped right away. The woman was very informative and didn't try to sell me something she didn't think i needed. It felt like my needs were her priority, not capitalism.

My bike was serviced within the day but they held it for me until the next day when i could pick it up. I love the convenience of them being near a bus stop.

Definitely making this my bike maintenance home.

I love this shop! Friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonable prices. Came in to see if I can adjust my bike so that I can ride with much more comfort. For years I've always felt that my back was being stretched making the bike ride uncomfortable. They listened, gave me clear explanation of my options, ordered the part and got my bike fixed way before originally estimated. Took a test ride and wow, the new adjustment was spot on. What a difference! I truly am thankful. This place is an awesome local bike shop. I'm glad they are here.
