YMCA Camp Jones Gulch reviews
9A beautiful camp in the magnificent redwoods. Service and food was great. You need to make reservations, but it's worth it! There are miles of hiking trail, during the summer they have great activities like a zip line, climbing tower, and pool. Outdoor enthusiasts young and old will enjoy this historic camp.
I remember coming here as a kid in the 90's for summer camp. I think back when I use to come here and my favorite things to do were wall climbing, rope walking/tree obstacles, and the horse back riding and campfire stories. Sad part was when the week was over it was time to go back home & I had to say good bye to all my new friends. Great experience as a kid and would recommend to anyone who has kids. I know when I have kids I'd like to send em here for a great summer experience. Thanks YMCA Camp Jones Gulch
1982, Science Camp 6th grade. Colonial Heights School Stockton CA. I was in Ms. Petches class. What a great time we had. Made a lot of friends. A lot of tears getting on the bus to go home. "Dirt made my lunch" was my favorite song we learned. Great memories of this place. I'd love to go back someday.
Had a great experience there with my college cohort. The nature around us beautiful, the cabins are decent and the food is great. You can also do a bunch of nice activities such as archery.
Haiiiii camp Jones gultch this is Emily I loved this camp so much I've been there twice so far and there cabins are so nice especially the crochet ones I been in them twice and it is like a real house also they have so many amazing activities and they even do hikes and have a pool it is so much fun
Went here for outdoor ed, what you would except out of a camp like this, old cabins, giant mess hall, a few recreational activities, pretty average except the food was above average.
I went to this camp way back in 1987 with Mrs. Shins 6th grade class had a great time. I always wanted my daughter to go there but we moved to a different state. I am so happy to hear students are still able to go and make wonderful memories.
