Service was horrible! Especially a lady.not professional. I’m also disappointed their food and green tea (taste was just like hot water!) NEVER go back there! We paid $100 for nothing.

Super tasty yakitori, everything was delicious.highly suggest getting the omakase to try a bit of everything if you can’t decide.the beef in the beef bowl was soo tender and flavorful, i couldn’t stop eating it!

definitely call for reservations a week in advance if you plan to dine during the weekend

Please has gotten terrible! Small portions and beef stew isn’t large and hot the way it used too! Skewers are salty, I would recommend leaving it unsalted and have the customers control the amount, rather then the cooks.

Food was good, but service was horrendous. Waiters were pounding beers. They were drunk by the time we left, it was 530pm on a Friday

Food was good, they have Japanese tapas like chicken liver and heart, and other "exotic" dishes, like beef tongue. Very good flavor. Do not expect the classic sushi place. And don't go there if you don't eat meat. The noise was absolutely terrible, there was a wild birthday party and I think the staff should have told them to quiet down.

Very rude service! Will NEVER come again! The Japanese manager was very rude. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER services at all. I've never been to such a restaurant. Avoid! Would give it a zero if I could. Come here if you want attitude.

One of my new favorites! These skewers are amazing. I love the chicken and scallion and all the pork wrapped veggies. I ventured out and tried the chicken cartilage, too "crunchy" (only way I could describe it). The staff is courteous and quick.

TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE restaurant! Really bad experience and will never come again! We put our name down and was told there is 45 minutes wait, so we waited for 45 minutes, and they called, we missed the first call but IMMEDIATELY called back. We were told we lost our table. Instead of putting us next on the line, they crossed our name out and told us we have to wait for an HOUR AGAIN! They claimed it is a policy but I don’t see it written anywhere and wasn’t informed about it at all beforehand! It is not the way restaurants treat customers. And we should now let those cocky Japanese restaurants manipulate us with made up rules. And the manager came with such a condescending attitude just want to kick us out.

The dine in was not at full capacity yet, so the waiting line could still be long.
The daily special changes frequently. The skewer omakase is our must order even though the combination is usually the same. Among all skewers in omakase, mentaiko chicken was our favorite, which could not be found from the menu.
Btw, I love their dry beer.

Promptly seated upon reservation. Food came slow but everything was delicious and well prepared. Best of all, will all the orders we had, the assorted skewers, miso soup, rice, green tea cold noodles, yakisoba, karaage, alcohol, desserts the bill for 3 of us didn't even amount to $100! Of course we're coming back,

Awful customer service
I came here yesterday with my boyfriend. We were standing and waiting right in front of the store and they let us stand more than 5mins and said they couldnt take us in. Then we came back early today and we had to stand in there again to wait for waitress to let us sit inside. I saw 3 workers passing us but none of them still did not care we standing there and wait. They didnt even tell us wait, just passing i know that those workers knew we were waiting but none of them really said anything and be like they dont see us standing there. I understand that they were busy but at least they could tell us to wait.

Server can't explain what the items are. I asked what's in shrimp skewer. She said it's just one shrimp with mayo. And when it came out it was a plain chicken skewer & on top was slices of boiled shrimp in tons of mayo. Not good.same with the salmon skewer.menu should state its plain chicken skewer with shrimp mayo topping. Lol
Also ordered crunchy chicken skin which I showed the server.but instead got a chicken skin skewer.

Although their beef skewer was okay.

A wonderful place to eat. Authentic Japanese food, I highly recommend. I have been to Japan and this place reminded me of the food there. So delicious, definitely check this place out.

If you know, you know.

Yakisoba? Amazing. I've never had this style mix with mayo and ginger and it's DELICIOUS.

Green tea cold soba? Refreshing! Green tea taste goes surprisingly well.

Nikomi style miso soup. I legitimately cried first time trying, so rich and hearty, not too salty, amazingly complex flavor.

Go to place for me and my friends. I would reccomend the omakase for newcomers to get an idea of what this place has to offer. The chef chooses from 6 premium skewers to serve. Its pricy at 18 bucks but it fills you up and tastes great. The skewers are always charrgrilled nicely using their traditional japanese grill. Most people don't know this, but you can order the skewers with either salt or sauce (teriyaki). My favorite is negima ("chicken and green onions") skewer with tare ("sauce"), add a rice and miso soup.
