Awesome little hostel. Owner is very friendly and has a great back story. Ill leave that for you to find out. There are some trails nearby and Yosemite is not far away. Its right up the hill from Briceburg. Very reasonable prices, good amenities and awesome location. If your on a budget and on the road this is The place. Highly recommend it. The spa portion was closed when i went due to covid. However it should be open now.

Cool place to stay while visiting the national park. It was a long walk to the room but well worth it. Book in advance to get exactly the spot you want but I loved the surrounding area and quiet of the place

Amazing place. Their tent rooms are the next best thing to camping. Service was amazing, the staff were polite and kind. Definitely check out the June Bug Cafe, amazing food! Best cheesecake. My second time here and another wonderful experience.

We loved this place! It’s a hidden gem just a short drive out of Yosemite with super reasonable prices and friendly staff. It has very yummy food offered three meals a day in their restaurant, the June Bug, great amenities (clean showers, shared kitchen), and welcoming, peaceful vibes. Highly recommend.

"Yosemite in a time capsule"!
Stepping into our cabin felt like a step back into time.
From the lace & velvet drapes to the perfectly positioned sitting sofa that overlooks the resort.
Objects (curiosity's) of days gone by are functionally placed throughout the room & immediately transport you into a steampunk/Victorian parlor room inside the cabin we spent 2 nights in.
The Queen sized bed was much appreciated after a long day hiking in Yosemite park (approx 45 min drive -1way) So plan accordingly
Shower was gas heated & all amenities you'd expect in an adjacent bath were provided.ex: (generous pump styled containers were filled with shampoo, conditioner, body soap & hand wash!)
The bathroom even boasted a wine chiller which my husband & I enjoyed on our last days hike.
If you choose to dine on site the resorts kitchen serves up breakfast, lunch &dinner with vegetarian/ vegan options (I recommend the eggplant with harissa.delish!)
My meat eating hubby ordered the steak & it was as big as his plate! (He had to ask for a to go box) for leftovers.which we locked up in the resorts communal kitchen fully equipped!
But oh my soul were we stuffed.
Looking forward to sippng on coffee in the morning right outside our cabin!
Great place to make old & current memories of!

Poop, hair and a suspicious dark stain on the bed cover. Definitely not recommended if you like a clean space to sleep.

Great bucolic outdoorsy setting. We stayed in a heated cabin-not bad for a snowy winter. The cafe had live bands and legit chefs, keeping everybody stuffed, content and chill. Some name climbers where here zig-zagging around. Very interesting place. Three stars cuz I reserve 5 stars for places like the Ritz, Waldorf, Ahwahnee, etc. Great Value for the money and if your willing to sorta rough it. Happy Trails.

I stayed in a private room with a bath during the fall while visiting Yosemite. It was a decent sized room with a comfy queen bed and surprisingly quiet considering how bustling the Cafe is. The do stress water conservation but I don't take issue with that. The only tricky part can be finding the open parking spot in the dark after a day of hiking and star gazing.

Very good food in the cafe, with counter ordering and self service bussing.

The starlight cabin was cozy but not too posh.

Will visit again next year.

This place is just excellent. I give it 4 stars because a hostel bed is not exactly cheap at $30, and the check-out/in times of 10am and 3pm are a bit extreme. (Surely it doesn't take 5 hours to clean a room). Otherwise there is nothing to hate about this place. Very well stocked kitchen (including food basics), nice views, cabin style accommodation, a nice homey cafe with couches and fireplace, and the illest HEALTH SPA around! For only $12, you can soak and sweat the day away. Will def stay here again in the future.

It was so hard to get around at nighttime. We struggled to find our cabin after we checked in but we had a lovely stay. Very cute place!

Don't want to pay an arm and a leg to go to Yosemite? Stay here! But make sure you Get a room/tent with heating!

The food was amazing! I stopped in here on my way to Yosemite and was very impressed by the quality of everything. Seriously delicious and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend eating here!

Comfy beds, further from the park then you'd anticipate, have to get the Yarts into the valley everyday. Bit expensive considering lack of included content. All food and spa is extra

This is the first time that I stay here, very comfortable and convenience to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room is okay, but quilt has a hole, looks like cigarette burned hole. The hair dryer fan doesn’t’ work. These things need to be changed, I would come back next time.

Perfect location, only about 45 mins from Yosemite. Nicely laid out with little huts for different rooms. Has everything I needed, laundry kitchen and a comfy bed. WiFi was very hot and miss but I have no complaints otherwise.

Cleaned every day. Staff are a bit mono, but helpful enough. There was a huge wild fire when I went so I only saw Yosemite for one day. Food is excellent!

I love, love, love this place. We have stayed in a cabin here twice and always look for space when we are headed out to Yosemite. My husband and I decided to head that way with my parents just a couple of weeks ago but they didn't have availability for our family of 6 on short notice. Instead, we ended up stopping by for dinner on our last day. As always, the food at the cafe is exceptional. The atmosphere is psychedelic, rustic mountain lodge. I will always love this fun and relaxing place.
