You Can Dance Studio

Groom here: Let me start by saying if I could give a sixth star I would. I was absolutely dreading having to do my first dance. Historically, I have always been extremely self-conscious and petrified of dancing in front of people; whatever coordination or athletic ability I have, simply disappeared out the nearest exit the moment I was required to dance.

Sarajane did a brilliant job of making my wife and I feel comfortable and perfectly tailoring the dance to our ability and the song. Most importantly she made the experience fun!

The day of the wedding, the first dance went off perfectly. It was so good fact we had multiple guests of all ages coming up to us asking where we learned our dance. We had numerous engaged couples asking where they could take lessons. Our response was always the same: ask for Sarajane at You Can Dance Studio!

Advice: Buy a lesson pack. We did 5. Our first 4 were actual practice/learning the steps and we used the 5th for fine tuning / smoothing out our movements (making us look like we knew what we were doing). Most importantly, practice a few times a week at home. It will make your lessons far more productive.

Simply put, the dance lessons went from being my most dreaded weekly wedding activity to the activity I looked forward to the most every week!

Bride here! I agree, Sarajane was amazing, and couldn't recommend her more. I love how she set up a meeting with us to learn what type of dance we wanted and then choreographed something that was perfection. We wanted to make sure we knew what we were doing during our dance but not look like we were trying to be professional ballroom dancers. She did such a great job and really made the whole thing so fun. Learning the dance was our favorite part of wedding planning!
