DO NOT SHIP WITH YRC. Try Old Dominion they are WAY better. They can give you a delivery window that is accurate. We were supposed to receive our shipment on Thursday 9/19. It's sitting on their lot 7 miles from the delivery location and they can't tell us when it will be delivered. INSANITY!

The staff here was quite friendly. People rate them low because they are not used to dealing with shipping and expect the same customer service as UPS and FedEx at a fraction of the cost. On a local level, they may not be great, but as a company, I was able to get freight shipped from St. Louis to Los Angeles in a few days, track it and pick it up with no issue. I recommend using them for what they are known for and handle things with a different company locally. Shipping terminal to terminal is excellent. FedEx wanted 7 times what YRC charged me so I can deal with the extra work to make it happen.

Worst freight company ever. They missed two shipment windows practically yelling at us that it was out for delivery both times only for them to then realize they never put it on a truck. Then only delivered half if the items and then missed three more scheduled deliveries. We had to go up and get our pallets. Over all wasted almost seven full days for what should've been a delivery in a four hour window.

They give a 4 hour window and then don't show up. To make up for not showing, they promise to make sure that your shipment will be loaded last so it will be delivered first. No show, no call. The worst service possible. Will I ever receive my shipment?

This is a terrible company. Like other reviewers has said, they schedule delivery but does not show up. Claims the shipment was never loaded, can't find shipment on the dock or some other bullshit excuse. Five days after my first scheduled delivery I have yet to receive my shipment. Their customer support team is terrible and the operations manager Gena Gonzales is truly terrible at her job.

Don't ever use this company - they never showed up to pick up a very time sensitive shipment. When I called at the last minute to see where the driver was, YRC said they never even received the paperwork! WTF? Then who was I working with this whole time? Don't waste your time and money and AVOID this company!
