Yuba Sutter Marketplace reviews
17With Turners, Hobby Lobby, Boot Barn, and more new companies coming to the mall it is rejuvenating the mall all over again.
The young ladies working at Journey's we're very sweet and helpful! Made the horror of shopping with a teenager bearable!
I live in oroville and would rather travel the extra time to Yuba City than Chico because this mall has so many more options and actually has a food court.
We went to Burlington coat factory. It was better that the one in Reno. The Reno one was really picked over.
Easy shot south on hwy 99 from Gridley, opened an account with credit union, found Target and DMV has more shopping than Gridley.
They have some good specialty stores, but they have no mens clothing stores, other than shoes.
Clean and had music playing in the mall. There are many new stores. There is always a great pizza deal in the food court. Nail place has a student price of $35 for acrylic french tip nails (need student ID). Plenty of parking.
This mall has potential. It is very outdated. If that, the food court could be better to draw in more people to want to come to the mall.
Pros:
-Verizon & TMobile to pay your bills if you prefer walking once in once a month and check out the mall and dine in at some food that the food court offers.
-Planet Fitness is within walking distance
-Hobby Lobby is there to personalized your home decor (if needed). Lots of seasonal items come and goes and is on sale and even more discount as the season is almost over.
-Near Bank of America to do your banking needs.
-Near Target.
Con:
-All Stores needs an update or the whole entire mall needs a whole new fresh look. TOOOOOooo many parking lots. Its a whole entire heat island effect that its even hotter outside walking.
-Too many vacant slots inside the mall.
Side note: This mall needs something to entertained all walk of life, maybe a movie theater catered to kids (all G-Rated movies). A Dave and Buster or Round 1 Stadium maybe? Or maybe include a bowling alley perhaps? Just throwing ideas out there to hopefully revive what mall we have here in the Yuba-Sutter area. Namm sayinn.
Very clean nice options to eat also has a barber shop and nail salon too. Play area for the kids and hubby to hang while you shop
The parking can be full sometimes but other than that the facilities are clean, good variety of stores
Walked to Burlington and got shoes and then went across the street and got a pedicure while I waited for safelite to change my car windshield, great spoiling myself.
Love this shopping center. They have so much to choose from.hobby lobby, small mall full of stores, many restaurants and more
Lots of nice stores to shop and browse, good places to eat at and today I noticed Boot Barn relocated there.
I used to love this place. Now, I don't go here unless I have to. It just feels empty. There are no good stores anymore and the food court is majorly lacking in variety. I typically only go there for two things anymore. Otherwise, I take my business elsewhere. It's now a boring place to spend the day when it used to be really fun to go and shop.
This mall in the last seven to 10 years has been dying slowly lot of the big stores left and there was hardly ever anybody in there but I think somebody has purchased it and they put a bunch of money into it made the signs out front very nice brushed aluminum signs now instead of the plastic signs and they've added a lot of big stores they've added Burlington coat factory they've added and hobby lobby and a gun store where you can buy guns and ammunition and fishing stuff the sporting store there is called Turner's and now Boot Barn has just moved in there and made it really nice before the only main store that was there was JCPenney's hanging on by a thread I believe but they've did a lot of renovations made the place a lot nicer and I've added all the big stores on the corner and it does have one of those 24-hour gyms towards the back of the mall never been to the gym but it looks like they have specials for $10 a month value for your money
Before Covid the mall was losing tenants. But I went the other day, throughly enjoyed my self.
I find myself wanting to go back and walk. Some of my favorite places r still there. Like the oriental massage. Love It!
