Yucaipa Regional Park reviews
15Went fishing. I'm not quite sure why we pay for a year of fishing license and then have to pay again for each individual location you go to fish at. It's a state license therefore should be good at all state park locations. It's a nice place to chill. Wish they would stock more fish. They hv nice camping locations.both with hook up and not. Close to grocery stores and such if needed. They hv a very large frisbee golf course. Must pay entrance fee.fishing fee.pet fee at gate
Like disc golf great place to play. Lots of activities fishing, picnics, paddle boats, swimming.
Extended weekend camping with a group. Spaces are far apart from each other. Plenty of room and many trees. Grounds were very well kept although there seems to be a gopher issue.
Stores and restaurants are just minutes away, as well as Oak Glen where all the great apple stores are located.
We had spot #38 and several others in the #30s. Our spot had a nice view of the sunset over the hills. Long easily accessable back-in paved spots with concrete patio. (Spot 38 is closest to trash and bathrooms, but also a park wifi antenna.) Sunset hits the curb-side of the rig.
Map shows fire rings but we didn't see any. We used our own wood-burning ring.
We were warned to lock up valuables, but saw no issue with undesirables walking through. Maybe that's more an issue in summer/busy times?
We didn't experience any of the amenities this time. Fishing, water slide, frisee golf are available and we're looking forward to a return trip.
I liked the fact that it wasn't crowd it with people. My dogs were able to run around. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. So peaceful. They should have a spot for dogs, so they can interact with other dogs.
Beautifullll! 2 parks for the kidz. 3 lakes to fish at. Tons of space and Tables w BBQ stands ready to cook on. And Patal Boats r a must!
Always one of my favorite parks, I especially love how laid back they are on dogs. My pitty loves coming here to run around and play with new friends
Nice day out but fishing sucks, a group of 11 caught 1 turtle, 2 catfish to small to keep. What a waste of money
Site was full of water from the sprinklers going off and pointing directly at our site every night. No wi-fi connection, and people leave trashbat sites.
Great Camping Place. All the rv spaces are big and not close to each other … not noise at all…
I recommend u winter lot snow not to far from the park.also 10 minutes away it’s oak Gleen.apple orchard, lot of restaurants and places to visit.
This place can be beautiful. The grounds aren't as well kept as they could be. It seems like they don't want to water the grass
This park has so much potential.
Maintenance seems to be slipping. Overly full trash receptacles througout park, Bbq's need cleaning (ours full of cigarette butts).
As full time retired RVers we have experienced hundreds of campgrounds. Never have we been in one that charged our guests $10 a day to visit. Most have day use fees for the park amenities (usually $5). But all have a visitors pass (free) to campsite visitors. I guess it says "welcome to California)
But, overall, nice park and good level large spots.
It affordable and close and it has a beach theme it has barbecues and gazebos you can rent out it has restroom showers and slides it also has something in place that handicap people in wheelchairs can get to the water in.
I love this place and I have been there for several years except last year that it was closed due to the pandemic. I gave it a few stars for the way the park ranger treated us, who yelled at us ugly so that we could leave when in previous years they had never treated us So.
Nice place to walk and i walked up on this guy sitting in the mud puddle startled me. This is a beautiful halk. The play ground was amazing.
After being in the pool and paying for the paddle board the Park Ranger was being rude kicking us out. We were a bit hungry and the ranger was yelling at us to have the kids help us pick up. If it was a privileged family he wouldn't of acted the same. Older caucasian man needs to get written up, and scolded by his manager because without visitors he'd have no job.
