Yue Huang Restaurant reviews
16 Too long of a wait for below average food. The food in the pictures look way bigger than what you actually get and it tasted kind of dry/lacking flavor. The food also seemed a little cold. Makes me wonder if they store them then microwave it when served.
Why does it take over 15 minutes to get some basic dim sum foods out? When other places that serve dim sum have them rolling around on carts ready to go on the spot.
Anyone who thinks this place is good needs to try a legitimate Chinese restaurant.
The service was great and the food was clean, but I just didn't like much of anything. We ordered variety and it seemed authentic, but lacked flavor. Everything else was great. The parking here is horrendous.
We actually stumbled across this restaurant and thought to give it a try. The whole experience is exquisite! The staff is very professional, food was great! This is authentic cuisine at it's best! The ambiance alone is a reason to visit. This place seats a lot and is great for special occasions.
Excellent dimsum carts more than make up for it. Just be careful, you may choose a very expensive item and not even know it!
Happy with not only my food at Yue Huang, but also the ambience. I only wish I don't need to remind them that their guests appreciates ice cold water along with their entrees.
The photos on the menu do not match some of the dishes, when it shows 4 pieces you only get 3 on many of them. That's false advertising! Additionally, the shrimp was not very fresh. It was a good deal but not up to hype for me.
Our first time here. We arrived about 1130 on Sunday morning and the line was out door. We were lucky 13, but the wait was reasonable.and worth it. The dim sum menu is large and varied. We ordered 6 items for the two of us. The food arrived very quickly. It was hot to the touch and very tasty. This place ran like a well oiled machine. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.
The costumer service sucks! Pls don’t waste your time checking them out. There very selective who get service.your better off going to bel air and grabbing there Chinese food to go!
First time here! Food was amazing! But it seem like they forgot about us so it took them along time to get our food out. They don't speak English so it kind of hard to understand each other. They don't call your name out once you put down your name on the list. Instead they call out the number lol, so make sure u remember what number you put your name on haha. Other then that it's a 5star place to eat. Just gave them a 2 or 3 for their services. I'm still going back to see how their dinners going to be! Can't wait
Delicious food for dim sum. I had their chicken feet (yummm), siu mai, har chow, lo mai gai, and all the usual dim sum plates. I kind of miss those waiters and waitresses pushing the carts ambiance before the pandemic.
Typical Chinese cuisine with 5 star service and flavor. Pricier than the average Chinese restaurant but it's reasonable because of the quality of food and service they provide. The dim sum here is all made in house from the noodle on har gow to the roasted duck. Dishes are consistent in flavor and quality. The service team here is top notch, great communication to get the guests seated and order taken promptly. Been here a couple times for the regular menu dining and it's on par with the dim sum. I suggest to venture out and just ask what's special that night and try something you usually don't eat! Great for bigger parties or special occasions such as anniversaries. It's somewhat pricey but the atmosphere and food is something to experience.
Come early as they fill up fast. Lots of locals. Food is delicious and just perfectly executed. Hoping to come back soon for some authentic dim sum.
This place horrible manager was talking about how different departments make different food in the kitchen but all the tables around us got different foods from different sections from the menu but still got all their foods together and then had the nerve to say because we ordered from different sections on the menu, thats why our food came out at different time so unprofrssional. Then they charge us for 2 teas when we only had waters! Dont recommend this place if your hungry, they just make you wait for your food and on top of that if i could i would give it no stars. Honestly felt like me and my friend were racially profiled. Worst experience ever! Other dim sum places are better!
First time there for dim sum at lunchtime. Food, service and ambiance were all great. Get there early, though. Really enjoyed it!
Great authentic food, professional service, definitely worthy of its Michelin recommended status. Can be busy and a little pricy as a result.
Their dimsum are delicious! No one picks up the phone during busy hours so your best bet is to come in and ask how the wait is (could be 45 mins to an hour long).
