Yummy Dim Sum & Fast Food reviews
15Yummy dim sum and good service. They make freshly steamed rice rolls! They also have 3 kinds of congee. These set them apart from good Mong kok a block away. I also really like their baked charsiu bao - it’s one of their specialties and only 3 for $2.50. The dough is quite unique - I think it incorporates some rice flour so it’s extra crispy on the outside and slightly chewy inside.
One little shop that just exudes authenticity. Menus on the wall are hand written, and not every menu has English translation.
Cheap, Fast, yet Delicious
Delicious inexpensive delights. Loved the Chinese Long Donuts ($1.70). Tasty, soft, chewy and not overly sweet or greasy. Yum! Dumplings at 3 for $2.50 were good too. I know there are lots of other DIm Sum spots around Chinatown but I doubt you would be disappointed with this one that seems to have a nice local clientele.
Friendly Chinese older lady working the counter, dim sum was better made than others across the street. Would definitely come back for more.
Great prices! Amazing tasting food. Had the taro dumplings and they were full of great flavor. The lady working here is also really nice.
This is the most delicious and cheapest place for lunchbox (3 entree’s + rice), dim sum, porridge and other Chinese goodies in the whole of SF Chinatown! The owner came from Chiu Chow/Chao Zhou), a region in So which has exquisite and tasty cuisine, and their food is quite exceptional for the price you pay!
Was my first time in Chinatown and since I'm Korean the communication wasn't easy but the ladies were very nice and understanding. The food was amazing too.
Their food is not fresh. Their service is very bad. When I bought chow mein, the owner don’t give some vegetables. She said only chow mein, and you can’t order that with any meat or vegetable. I don’t recommend this store. You will get a bad experience.
This restaurant is really very good, and the prices are excellent. I really like the sticky rice dumpling, the pan fried pork bun and the almond cake.
I think they serve only freshly made dim sum, unlike most other restaurants where you can end up with yesterday's buns if you arrive too early.
The person at the counter didn't speak English well but he did a great at taking my order and suggesting other choices.
I very much enjoy the food and customer service, awesome area close to my home. The cashiers are always super friendly. Will come back again.
Although the price on the wall is for every 3 items you can order individual item with less price. We ordered everything in the plate for $6. Food is tasty, although some are slightly cold.rice porridge isn't too salty. Very authentic Cantonese food place.
Make your way through the narrow front door and up to the counter for excellent dim sum.
Yummy is definitely yummy. The textures and seasoning of their dim sum fillings are superior to other places in the neighborhood.
Despite the menu prices for three pieces, they will sell individually so mix and match and try them all.
You won’t be disappointed.
Good place. Reasonable prices. Pork shiu Mai were super good. Lotus sticky rice was a bit dry. Cash only.
