Zabriskie Point reviews
16Beautiful viewpoint in Death Valley National Park. Visited in January, so no extreme temps. Such a beautiful place; not to be missed if you have the chance
Zabriskie Point is quite close to Furnace Creek. If you are coming from Vegas then Visit Dante’s View first then Zabriskie Point. The rock formations here seem to flow like waves. There is a footpath up from the car park and although it is a little steep, it is wheelchair accessible. There are also walks that you can do from the car park into the rocks.
It was like experiencing star wars in tatooine. We were looking for the star wars droids and obi wan kenobi's cave.
It makes sense to stop there briefly and find out about borax production. Because this hard work was practiced until the 1930s, the borax was then transported through the desert in ox carts. Impressive.
We came on a weekend and it was crowded, not much parking space. But once you get here there are lots of photo opportunities. But you have to be mobile enough to get down to few of the better places that’s less crowded and prettier.
Beautiful spot in Death Valley right near one of the few population centers. Definitely worth the visit
A nice spot with some elevation (10 mins walk), has some majestic views of Death. Alley and a decent spot for star gazing, although there is minimal light pollution due to vehicles pass by at a far distance
Easy hike. Great for family and anybody with a disability. There are benches while going up. You can probably get up in 3-5 minutes without stopping. Most time spent here would be 30 minutes.
Amenities:
Plenty of parking. Restroom. No phone signal.
Beautiful place with its natural rock formations and artistic pallet formations. Surreal experience
A viewpoint in Death Valley is rarely visited in the morning and is worth getting up early. From midday it gets stressful with lots of tourists on site.
Absolutely amazing view. Sun sets early in Death Valley NP. Make sure you get there in time.
Good amount of parking spots but still can get a bit crowded.
Must visit place in death valley national park. It would be before furnace creek visitors center from death valley junction.
I didn't see a sunrise here, but there was a full moon rise, and it was so beautiful!
One of the must visit spots in Death Valley. Best to visit a bit after sunrise when the sun is not that high yet and the shadows really bring out the grooves and curves.
One of the best views is death valley park. We mangled to be there before the sunset where the view was spectacular!
Absolutely gorgeous place. Breathtaking views, lots of hiking options. Can easily spend the entire day.
