Zankou Chicken, Tarzana CA

Food was bad and I got sick. Hadl unch here and got sick right after, I felt the food was a bit off. I will stay away from this place from now on

I love this place. The chicken tarna is the way to go. Every time I see one it’s a mandatory stop.

Shout out to the amazing team at Zankou Chicken in Tarzana, located at 19598 Ventura Blvd! They serve the best chicken that soothes those hungry nerves and their staff is exceptionally courteous. When you place a phone order, they take the time to explain the menu so you know exactly what you're getting and can fully enjoy it. And let's not forget about their famous GARLIC PASTE that is to die for! Thank you for always taking care of our hunger cravings. You're the best! Zankou Chicken, is really Deliciousness

No it has not changed. This Chicken is sooooo good it's scary. And the garlic spread is devine.

Zankou is one of my favorites for a quick tasty lunch, the chicken tarna wrap is something I crave on a regular basis. The restaurant isn't big on ambiance but the food is delicious!

It said I can get a free side dish. I asked her about redeeming it she said I don't know how to redeem it and apologized for it. I don't understand how she works here and doesn't know how to redeem it.

If it wasn't for the homeless man peeing in the middle of the restaurant it would have been a perfect visit. But they got him out and cleaned up immediately.

Terrible staff, their menu prices in restaurant are different than online. The cashier is finishing up a personal phone call on her cell phone while a customer is waiting to order. I send feedback through their website and never got a response. Just terrible. I wouldn’t recommend the TARZANA CA location.

The chicken is always delicious with the exception of their hummus and secret garlic sauce. Sometimes both the hummus and garlic sauce lacks consistency. Service depends on the staff working some are nice but some don't really care.

I went there today it is June 8,2023 at 6 PM and I ordered and after 30 minutes, I was still waiting and I asked them and they acknowledged me but didn’t do anything about it and 10 minutes later, I went up to the counter one more time and the staff looked almost clueless. They were looking at each other speaking in Spanish and laughing. Horrible management, terrible customer service. Customers that arrived after me were complaining about their order as well and they got theirs before I got mine. This is embarrassing I expected better service. Avoid this place unless you want your time wasted

They charged us for double the food we had ordered. Very dismissive abs little care in preparing orders.

The food is very good. The combination of the accessories with the tri tip or tarna is excellent!

This was an online order for pickup. Loyal customer doesn't have their special requests fully noted

Go to a different location! Chicken and shawerma were dry, definitely not fresh. Tabbouleh was soggy and sad, hummus was runny and bland. The rice had no flavor or seasoning. Not to mention they do not serve tzatziki at this location - overall very disappointing. I would have happily driven to a different location for better quality.

Love the food here and the service is always great. I highly recommend trying them out whenever you can.
