1 We were in town for a few days and pizza sounded good for dinner our last night there. I googled pizza, looked for the most stars and randomly chose Zappy’s TOTALLY due to number of stars! (Reviews are important to businesses!)
We were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly and had a huge smile! We ordered our pizza and waited 8-10 minutes! It came out hot, fresh and SO delicious for a great price! The man shared that he had taken over the business after the death of his father. You could see the pride in his eyes. He’s proud of his work as well he should be! The restaurant doesn’t offer dine in as it is very tiny and modest. I’m telling you, if you don’t eat Zappy’s pizza when you’re in National City, Ca…. You aren’t eating the best pizza in town!
