Overall the experience didn't live up to other reviews I had seen, but to be honest all I ordered was 2 fish tacos, although I think that's an item that should be dialed in. The cashier was very nice and welcoming so no issues there. The restaurant itself is pretty dirty, it's not a deal breaker for me but it's a little past what I would say is comfortable for me or most people. I think just wiping everything down well and getting the tiles cleaned would go a long way.
But here is the deal breaker for me and the reason why I give 3 stars, which in my mind is somewhat of a bad review. The fish tacos that I thought I had seen online had a white sauce, but maybe they were another type of taco. In any case, I received the tacos and didn't mind, thinking it was some sort of Chipotle sauce. But this sauce tastes like secret burger sauce. You know. Thousand island (without the pickles). Mayonnaise sweetened with ketchup. I would be incredibly surprised if there wasn't ketchup in it. In any case it ruined what would have been a DECENT fish taco. Still not great, but decent.
Seeing as I was super hungry I did finish it, and ordered a breakfast burrito for my son because I was picking him up from school right afterwards. He said the burrito was okay and about a 6 or 7 out of 10, it definitely didn't look great for $13.
I think the restaurant could greatly improve itself without spending much money at all. Just some elbow grease food quality checks.
On a positive note, I did see 2 other guys eating and their meal looked really good. A big plate with lots of shrimp and lettuce and cheese and sauces. Maybe you just have to know what to order. And/or maybe the employee just put the wrong sauce in my fish taco

Nice clean place good food but parking lot was full of bronel beerbotles it would be nice to do so clean up it was really phylthy when you drive up n glass evrywheres.

Good place to hang out, prices are a bit high but the food is good. The only day I say to stay away is Sunday, youngsters go and constantly get drunk and fight so it has a bad feeling to it Sunday nights.

Good food, the place is good! But the waitresses.mules! The steak with potatoes is bad! But the rest is 100% recommended

The food is amazing but be aware they sometimes had live music and it gets very noisy in here.

Just came in to grab a quick bite to eat and left with an enduring memory of one of the best finds in Sacramento. On Friday nights this place has an amazing mariachi band featuring three violins, three trumpets, multiple singers and guitarists. They were a true blast.

The micholada was amazing and came with shrimp. The chili relleno was full of flavor, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I look forward to coming back and enjoying more food and music!

My boyfriend and I were there this passed Friday for the first time. We ordered the 3 Quesobirria tacos Micheladas con Negra Modelo. Food was fire and the drinks were tasty. The Mariachi arrived and they were fabulous. Had a great time, almost felt like dancing. Will definitely return.

Placed a to go order! Everything was delicious! One of my top 3 sea food placed to go to! Definitely recommend!

So we have been wanting to go in this place place for a while and know that they have a huge mariachi band with probably almost 20 people in it Friday Saturday and Sunday. The food was great. Energy infectious. Mariachi sing a long. Great place. Great fun. Staff always making rounds to make sure everyones happy. Will definitely be back.
