Dr. Carpenter and her assistant were very professional and provided excellent service. It is the best dentist office in San Francisco.

I've only visited this office once, but it is already the best dental experience I've ever had. Reception was kind, attentive, and friendly. The hygienist and dentists answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns that I had.

I would 100% recommend to switch to this dentist to anyone who is unhappy with their current dentist.

Amazing experience at Zen dental. It is called zen for a reason! They have massage chairs and have the latest technologies. Dr. Carpenter was so thorough and positive in her work. I would continue coming to Zen dental.

We found this place on yelp and have been patients of Dr. Pokhrel for a year now and absolutely love it! It’s a women owned practice. The dentist clinic is modern, extremely clean and they utilize all new and modern technology for dental care. Dr. Pokhrel is very caring you really feel you are taken care of when you visit. If you are in search of a new dentist, look no further!

Best dental experience I ever had. The dental hygienist was so nice and thorough, the office itself is very nice and clean. The doctor was great too. Just an overall great experience, highly recommend.

I was looking for a new dentist and saw great reviews for Zen Dental and they did not disappoint! Booking online was so easy they called to confirm the appt and are very transparent with pricing! I do not have dental insurance and was worried about the costs, I’m so thankful they let you know ahead of time instead of having to wait until after procedures are done it eased my mind so much! It is pricier but I think it’s definitely worth it. The entire staff was so kind and my anxiety slowly melted away, it was actually quite relaxing. If you have dental anxiety and want high quality treatment this is the place for you.

I discovered this dental practice while looking for a close dentist after moving to my new home. The staff were really professional and courteous, quickly accommodating my appointment request as a new patient. My hygienist, Wiomy and Dr Carpenter, are very skilled at what they do and fully informed me about my procedures and what to expect and their friendly welcoming gave me a positive first impression. After four visits for various procedures, I am now strongly committed to making this facility my primary dental care choice in the future.

I know the dentist’s office isn’t a place most people look forward to going to but Zen Dental has been such a delight! All the times I’ve been, I’m greeted with great customer service and offered water. The office, itself, is very clean and peaceful with nice lofi music on. The seats are comfortable and you can even watch Netflix while having your teeth cleaned.

The professionals who work here are all polite and competent. This office is quite organized, as well, sending appointment reminders, etc. It’s a well-run machine with warmth! Highly recommend and will miss this dentist when we move. Hoping my next dentist will be as good as this place.

I love Zen Dental and the way they always greet me with a positive vibe. Dr Nina is so knowledgable and sweet. She and her assistants take their time with their patients. The pricing is super reasonable and I love using their monthly dental care plan as an alternative to dental insurance. The facility is modern and clean.

Such lovely people who work here. Never have to wait longer than 2 minutes for my appointment. Each person takes their time with you and you never feel rushed. It's truly a great experience every time.

Unfortunately a scam practice that invents fake "problems" to bill you.

Went in for a routine cleaning and received a truly alarming assessment. Gum pockets at 5-6mm depth that would require specialized deep cleaning in all 4 quadrants, 4x yearly cleanings, a problem with my bite that "required Invisalign or it would ruin my jaw", etc.

This was a hard turn from a multi-decade clean dental track record. I ended up paying out of pocket for second opinions from other Dentists. The "problems" were fabricated - nobody else could find a pocket deeper than 3, no bite problems, none of the tooth wear Zen Dental described.

They were very convincing and technical, but it was a scam. Truly a shameful practice to deceive patients like this

Very happy with my experience here! I had 2 fillings replaced and Dr. P made the whole experience very pleasant. She has great technique for the numbing injections and it really didn’t hurt at all. The massage chair and Netflix is also a great distraction.
I think Crystal was my hygienist and she was very detailed and explained everything.
Also, their front desk is very communicative and easy to work with. Recommend if you’re looking for a dentist!
