Supermarket Zion Market reviews
17We always shop here for Ramen noodles there is always a large selection. Always try Paris Baguette for good treats and pastries.
Zion Market is great. It's huge, always very well stocked with not only basics but obviously the more specific things you can find only at an Asian market, and they have a food court with ready-made food that's a lot better than you'd think.
I can't say you have to come here over say Ranch 99, but for sure it's a lot easier to distance since there's a lot more space, and their parking situation is a lot better!
We got some meat that was on special. Their app said a few more meats were on special but not! Apparently you need to come on the weekend! I work weekends and don't live in San Diego so that won't be happening. They should clarify this on there app! We got the meat at Marukai
Ad discounts are worth buying, but vegetables, fruits, etc.are not fresh, so you have to pick them up.

Has a lovely cafe place inside the market where you may sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee with your muffin. However this store has a HUGE variety of food that can't be found in other places. If you're a cook or know a person that loves to cook but has a hard time finding some ingredients I'd definitely recommend this place.
Staff not so friendly.
Fantastic place for all my Asian food and kitchen needs. The fresh produce is amazing. I can't attest to fresh meats or fish in this post. Bring your own bags!
Zion Market is always the best place for fresh produce and variety of products! We love Zion Market!
Lousy service. The cashier was talking to his coworker who works on the next aisle. He didn't pay attention to what he was doing. Charged me twice for the same box of noodles. I caught it on time. Then I don't know if customer is supposed to bag her own stuff. He kept talking to the other cashier. Things piled up. I paid, I bagged the grocery I bought, but not fast enough for the next customer. He realized that so he threw my stuff into my bag, then I saw he didn't put a sticker on the box of the noodles I bought, paid for. I had to tell him to do it as I don't want to be accused of stealing it. Disappointed on the service I received as the check out.
Huge variety and has everything you need for your Asian cuisine. The amount of selection is crazy. Not only that, they have multiple food stands and storefronts inside the building. So you get Zion Market, to shop for your groceries, and a plethora of other businesses all in one convenient place. Definitely recommend shopping here.
We stopped here just go to the k-pop store. Super busy. The parking lot was full, so had a hard time parking. But inside was clean.
They have great snacks and food there.the ladies giving food samples were absolutely the sweetest.they have so many seperate shops inside including places to eat yummy korean food.they also have a kpop store that also sells cute stationary and childrens toys and plushies. 10/10
Love coming here for the hard to get ingredients for Japanese and Korean recipes.
Also, price is significantly less here for bulk items like sesame seeds, seaweed snacks and rice when compared to other grocery stores like Walmart or Vons. Excellent selection of produce as well.
A true favorite of mine for sure!
Zion is a superfood market carrying just about, every type of fruits and vegetables, from around the world.fresh fish to frozen.duck meat.etc. If you prefer pastas.there is quite and extensive kind of varieties.best Asian Market with a grand food court.love it in sunny San Diego. Super clean store, and freshest produce ever. Great side eats too. Enjoyed a gluten-free pastry at the Parisian place, and got a boba tea drink in the middle of the market. Need to make a trip from Northern S. D.again
OMG sooooooo much to choose from! If you are looking for anything Asian when it comes to food groceries this is def a good place to shop! I love the Golbi strips and pork belly! Def worth the buys!
Pros:
Great prices on veggies
Good prices on meat, a nice selection marinaded meats to choose from. Great to bring to a BBQ or a camping trip.
Large selection of Asian products - sauces, curries, snacks
Has a food court inside with a number of different restaurants. Great for having a quick lunch, before picking up your groceries.
Cons:
It can get really, REALLY busy and the check out lines can be really long.
