Update: I had the pleasure of speaking with Juan, and I must say, he truly worked wonders in resolving all of my concerns. Juan possesses an extraordinary talent for attentively listening to the customer's issues and taking swift, decisive action. It speaks volumes about a company when they can set aside their ego and prioritize doing right by their customers. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Juan for his outstanding work and dedication!

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with the company Zog and their softball schedule, and I cannot express how dissatisfied I am with their services. First and foremost, the cost of $113 per person for just six games seemed outrageously high, especially considering the subpar quality of the entire experience.

The most frustrating part was that due to a team no-show, we were left with only four games instead of the promised six. When I contacted their customer service in hopes of finding a solution and rescheduling with other willing teams, they were completely unhelpful and unaccommodating. Their refusal to even consider making any adjustments only demonstrated their lack of care for their customers.

What adds salt to the wound is the fact that LA Sports Net offers the opportunity to play more games for half the price. Zog's pricing strategy is absurdly overpriced and unjustified, considering the better and more cost-effective alternatives available elsewhere.

But the disappointment didn't end there. The incompetence of the umpire they provided was simply laughable. Throughout every game, this umpire was more interested in her phone than officiating the match. It's mind-boggling to see someone being paid for a job and not taking it seriously. Her negligence even extended to not keeping proper score, which is a basic and essential part of an umpire's role.

It is evident that Zog lacks proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in place to handle such situations. Their inability to address customer concerns and ensure a satisfactory experience for all participants is deeply troubling. This kind of disregard for their customers and lack of professionalism is not acceptable in any business.

In conclusion, my experience with Zog's softball schedule was nothing short of a complete disaster. The exorbitant price for only four games, the uncooperative customer service, and the joke of an umpire all point to a company that is more interested in making money than providing a quality service. I would strongly advise everyone to explore other options like LA Sports Net for a better and more enjoyable softball experience. Zog needs to seriously reevaluate their practices and step up their game if they want to retain any semblance of credibility in the future.

We played many times prior to the pandemic. Just came back and the price was increased $150, plus a 3% fee. They also shortened the season to only 6 games. We ended up only playing 2 REAL GAMES all year. They scheduled multiple games on holidays and the opposing team wouldn't even show up. And then they didn't even have a facility booked for the playoffs. They gave us like a $30 credit like we would ever sign up with this company again. Total disappointment.

ZogSports LA is a great place to have fun, get exercise and meet great people. I have been playing kickball for many years now with Zog and I have fun every time we have a game. Highly recommend!

I’ve played in a Zog Sports League for many years now, dating back to my time living in New York City. This is my first year living in LA and I figured, what better way to make new friends than doing something I enjoy? And so, starts my journey playing in Zog’s week night softball in West LA.

The experience has been great so far. I was able to meet new people who share the I share the same interests with. The games can be competitive but I’m always having fun.

Brian, the umpire, has been great and helped facilitate a great time when we’re out there on the field. Most places you sign up to, you won’t get a friendlier umpire who genuinely just wants everyone to have fun. Additionally, Brian also receives feedback well, like implementing rule changes to make the games more hitter friendly.

I am glad I decided to pick up coed sports agin and through Zog. If you’re new to the area and want to consider something to do, I recommend looking at the leagues that Zog offers and just sign up. You won’t regret it.

Playing softball every week has allowed me to build friendships and have fun while enjoying a sport I love. I appreciate Anna and Bryan, who make playing with Zog that much better, because it’s obvious they love the game and want to ensure the best experience possible for all teams.

I have played multiple sports with ZogSports over the years and they do an amazing job of organizing all the events and making sure all the participants have the best possible time. Softball, Kickball, and my personal favorite Bowling, are a great way to break up the week and see all our ZogSport Community Friends. Looking forward to many more seasons!
