So unorganized how you going to tell me don’t be late and you late got me waiting and they lied about the pay rate and hours so i already know I’m not going to like this company. I can do way better they need to get it together. Or I’m not going to last 30 days I can tell already I don’t like this company.

This company is a joke. Can't reach anyone locally, they completely bungled the bus setup for my son before school started, and have continued to bungle it since. We're on week 3 of no bus service. My child has an IEP and has a right to an education, the lack of communication and updates on actions taken is absurd and completely unacceptable.

I don't know why or whose fault it is but apparently with zum they can't do anything about helping with changing routes or anything! There's only 1 person that can and it's a woman at Spokane public schools which never answers the phone or calls back! My 4 year has things going on that makes it almost impossible to sit on a bus for an hour!

How do you guys feel about running locally-owned third and fourth generation bus companies out of business? What about the routes you guys screwed up? Or the parents who had to take off to get their kids to school? Or the kids whose first day of school you ruined? Get out and stay out of Howard County, and take our criminal of a stupid-intendent with you!

Horrible customer service, In Howard County MD they have been a disaster. I experienced this first hand.

Disaster of a company. Don’t feel safe putting my kids in the hands of such an incompetent organization. Rollout in Howard County was fumbled beyond belief. Still dealing with massive issues a week out. Drivers are not trained and ill prepared to take on this contract.

It is horrible not knowing if or when my child will actually make it to school. It also stinks having to take time off from work because your child’s bus is either late or doesn’t show up at all.

ZUM failed to inform our district that they did not train and certify enough drivers before school started in Howard County, MD. That meant, for our family, that 2 children are STILL without a bus for this school year. My youngest child (6) had sporadic bus service with a driver that did not know that she had to still make every stop in morning and afternoon even if my kid wasn’t on the bus (other children at our bus stop)! ZUM has zero infrastructure in MD or on the East Coast to alleviate drivers “calling out” en masse. Their drivers are shockingly undertrained and continue to make mistakes that put children in danger. ZUM has great PR and loves to tout their cutting edge app & goals for better emissions. The truth is that ZUM is an EXPENSIVE mistake for our district and simply cannot deliver safe, reliable drivers. We wouldn’t need an app to track our children’s transportation if they hired and trained reliable drivers.

Horrible service, our local school bus transportation services were cut bc our local board of educations in Howard County MD mismanagement of our tax payer dollars hiring Zum. 3800 children are without local bus services, meanwhile Zum drivers missing routes, children 3 hours late getting home…. All within the first week of school smh. Furious parent.

Terrible execution of bus services. Drivers were flown in from across the country mere days before the start of school and are unfamiliar with the routes — and that is if a bus even shows up. Dozens of routes have been cancelled, leaving students without means to get to and from school for who knows how long. Unacceptable waste of taxpayer dollars and time.

On the first day of school we waited for a bus that never came. We later learned that 20 buses did not start their routes. There has been no explanation as to why parents were never told that buses were not on the way. If we had known, we could have made arrangements to get all of the kids to school on time.

Newest update: they have sent me a check for the damages and I’ve changed my review to 4 stars as they finally did make it right, but the length of time was a bit long (over 2 months). They need to work on incident resolution processes within the company.

Update: after calling multiple times and perhaps the review, I have been contacted. Their adjuster has come out and we are in process. Once it’s resolved, I’ll fully change my review.

Their bus hit my parklet and they are not calling me back. It destroyed the mirror of the bus and the corner of my parklet.

The entire company is in shambles, with no leadership, organizational skills and poor overall sense of urgency.

There is no local number for me to call in regards to my questions & concerns. I am constantly redirected to an overseas phone number, how can I trust this company when it comes to transporting my kids? No local contacts?

Every single time my child’s school transitions from regular school year to summer school or has a deviation from the local school calendar it takes a few days to actually get Zum to show up. My child has missed many days of school over the last three years. I have no choice because our school district has a contract with Zum. Terrible - school districts beware and choose other vendors.

The worst service ever. Horrible employees specially TERRILYN R. She has the worst attitude towards children I have let the company know nothing has been done! She is unprofessional and does not do well with children! Incident after incident was reported & the company does not care! They always have excuses after excuses that will talk to upper management NOTHING has been done!

I recently used Zum for transportation services for my child and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The drivers are friendly, professional, and always on time. I highly recommend Zum for anyone in need of a reliable and safe transportation for their children.
