Zumiez, Carlsbad CA

Today we went to the The shoppes Carlsbad in Carlsbad California. My little sister who is 15 wanted to try on some pants. We started pulling down some pants to find her size/ figure out what size she was. Jabe, came up and was unkind and took the pants out of my sisters hands and must of not like how we folded the pants and put them back. He pulled them all off the shelf and slammed them on the counter. He asked what size we wanted as he was mad we were looking through the pants. He then handed the pants we tried to folks to another male coworker and said here I have a job for you. We felt super uncomfortable and unwelcome after that because all we wanted was to help my little sister feel excited to buy her first empire pants. The pants were folded up so we couldn’t see the sizes. We weren’t trying to make a mess and we were folding them and putting back. We overheard Jabe talking about us to another male employee. Jabe was then laughing at us with another female employee. He said he wasn’t laughing at us but was laughing at his coworker because she was nauseous. Then he laughed again, and we asked if he was laughing at us and he said yes now I am. My little sister was tearing up because she felt embarrassed and upset. Jabe was so rude. Not to mention all three workers weren’t doing much when we came in. We spent a lot money on these pants regardless but it ruined the whole experience. We shocked because we never had an experience like this Zumies.
