To say this was easily one of my top tattoo experiences of all time would be an understatement.

I have about 70 hours of tattoo work on me from various artists. I haven’t gotten a new tattoo since 2018, and when my grandma passed away in November, I knew that I wanted to get something in remembrance of her. I reached out to Sandra, and she was phenomenal with incorporating all the elements I requested, in a composition that fits my body, and within my budget. The booking process was easy, and she was super responsive in the weeks leading up to my tattoo.

Day of (today!), the shop was incredibly welcoming, clean, and the vibes were so, so good. One unique thing Disruptive Ink offers is Reiki ink with Mateo-Luis, and let me tell you, I was shocked by how powerful the experience was. In addition to a beautiful tattoo, Mateo also held space and energy for me to talk through my grief about my grandma’s passing, to help shift my energy from the pain of the tattoo itself, and to help me process my feelings in a trauma-informed way. For someone who used tattoos as a way to heal inwardly anyway, this was such a unique way to incorporate the mental, physical, and emotional elements of getting a tattoo, all in one sitting.

I left the shop with a beautiful new addition to my skin and feeling emotionally lighter. Y’all, book here. Get the reiki ink. You won’t regret it.

Rene did an awesome job. I love that this is female owned lgbtq+ business. I was very comfortable during the whole process and she checked in me often to make sure I was doing ok. I will definitely be coming back.

I recently had an incredible experience at Disruptive Ink Tattoo that I just have to share! Tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, this gem of a shop caught my attention with its unique ambiance. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the eclectic mix of great music and the quintessential tattoo shop decor that set the perfect vibe for my session.

The staff at Disruptive Ink Tattoo were nothing short of amazing. Everyone was welcoming, inviting, and exuded professionalism that made me feel right at home. A special shoutout to Sandra Lin, my tattoo artist, who went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout. Whether I wanted to chat or enjoy the process in silence, Sandra was incredibly accommodating, striking the perfect balance to keep my mind off the pain.

From the seamless consultation process initiated with a simple email, to letting Sandra take the reins on the design with my vague brief of “flowers and sexy, ” the experience was effortless. I was thoroughly impressed by the shop’s commitment to cleanliness and safety, which they executed flawlessly.

The final outcome? Sandra Lin is a badass! My tattoo exceeded all my expectations, perfectly mirroring the design she had drawn up. It’s no exaggeration to say that this was the best tattoo experience I’ve had, and considering I’ve visited at least 10 shops, that says a lot.

I wholeheartedly recommend Disruptive Ink Tattoo for anyone looking for exceptional tattoo work. Their excellence in service, artistry, and overall experience is unmatched. Moreover, the fact that they are LGBTQ owned and cis-ally’s adds a special touch to their already inviting atmosphere. This was initially what drew me to them, but the quality of their work and the positive environment are why I’ll be returning.

Melissa Fritz is one of the best tattoo artists I've ever been to. I mean not only talented but such a great person to get to chat with. Fast work, great color and saturation. She really listens and gets the small details. Also, I love the whole vibe of the shop. Queer woman owned shop, and you can even get reiki during your session. Check out all the artists, I dont think you could go wrong with this shop

I had an incredible experience with Bri. The entire time I felt safe and comfortable. She is easy to chat with. I never felt like a burden throughout the process. I could take breaks as needed. I even was able to get a round of numbing spray to get through the end of the tattoo.
The shop was clean and nicely decorated. The music wasn't the typical tattoo shop vibe (way too loud screamo). Overall, I was just amazed.
I will definitely be coming back. Better prepare yourself Bri, as I will have some ideas!

I got a tattoo from Haley and she did such a great job. She made sure I was 100% satisfied with the design, placement and size. She also had no problem adjusting it.

Got my first tattoo done here yesterday. Melissa made me feel comfortable by explaining the process, and asking me questions about the design I wanted. I could tell she wanted to get it right. Disruptive Ink Tattoo is, hands down, the place, to get your next tattoo! Disruptive Ink is notably and proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly, female owned, a safe space (for ALL), offers handicap accessible parking, and bottled water, during your visit. My artist, Melissa, is polite, punctual, flexible, understanding, respectful, supportive, and always friendly. I moved, from the south, end of 2021, and have searched, for a new queer friendly, safe space tattoo parlor. Out the gate, Disruptive Ink gave off the dopest vibes. I messaged the shop, described my want (s), and was matched with an artist. We met, at the shop, discussed my idea (s), exchanged photos of various designs, went over cost, began scheduling, and I’m two tattoos into dozens more. Touch ups are encouraged and free! My knuckles have been gone over 3x’s. My identity is something I am extremely proud of, and my last two ink sessions have validated me mentally & physically. ALL are welcome, none are judged, and respect goes a long way. Drink water. Moisturize. Tip your servers. Peace out!

Ive been to two of the shops artists, the owner, Sandra, and Bri. They were both beyond great with their art, professionalism and making you comfortable in their chair, both physically (as tattoos are sometimes not the most comfortable thing to get) and the overall vibe.

I won Sandra’s $1,000 tattoo raffle and got my back tattoo with it. It is so much better than I could have ever imagined. She was so patient with me when I asked to change the design quite a few times before we actually started the tattoo and even at the end when I wanted to add more things. Sandra really has an incredible way of reading people to know how to make you comfortable in her chair. The experience with her was incredible, as I sat for my first session for 8.5hours she was friendly and accommodating the entire time! I had 2 sessions to complete my back tattoo and it’s healed perfectly.
I also have my stomach tattooed by her which was the same experience, great from scheduling, the tattoo and healing. I love it!

Bri has tattooed my head, face, chest, hand and ribs! I started seeing her when she was an apprentice and she has been incredible every time I’ve seen her since. Very welcoming and all of my tattoos have healed great and she’s very good at adjusting designs and collaborating to get you exactly what you want.

Overall, I really like this shop. I go there now for almost all of my tattoos and plan on continuing to! I had to lay topless for my back tattoo for quiet a while and felt totally comfortable and safe in their shop. I love their message and atmosphere as well as tattooing/drawing abilities. I recommend this shop to everyone I know!

Best place to get tattoos in all of Colorado. I haven't had such a wonderful experience as I have here. All my tattoos look amazing. The people are so kind, professional, and inviting. Sort of like my second home, I'll keep coming back. Brought my best friends to the shop for their first tattoos and they were so satisfied with the entire experience. The vibe in the shop is positive and fluid. If you want an amazingly talented tattoo artist ask for Melisaa! She's done three tattoos for me so far and working on a leg sleeve. She's dope! You won't be disappointed.

I moved to Denver a few years ago and it took me forever to find an artist I truly loved. I am so glad I found this shop and found Bri. She is amazing and I won’t go to anyone else! She has turned into the family artist and we love her. The shop atmosphere is welcoming and its amazing all the way around!

Everytime I go see Melissa she always knows how to make me feel at home. She is SUUUPERR light handed and knows how to put so much love into each and every tattoo she does! Can't wait to come get more ink!
