A Baked Joint reviews
17Chill vibe. Great coffee. Great baked goods. Absolutely will visit if I'm ever in DC again. Favorite breakfast spot we visited.
Got the veggie #1. Really appreciate a good sandwich shop that can make a bomb sammie even without meat. Only reason I dropped a star is because the sandwich is noticeably small given it was 13$
Adorable shop worth hanging out in with lots of plants and seats. Will def be back to order another item and relax in the space!
The Sweet Potato Soup was good, the Plane Jane brownie was good, the coffee was good. They have a very cute interior with lots of seating options including a loft style area with couches. Overall I really liked the vibe and the food options, I'd come back!
This place has really great reviews so was excited to try. I ordered a flat white coffee. Maybe I should have forgone the coffee and just ordered food? The flat white was not a flat white.pretty sure I was given a latte. The espresso was so strong and not made the way a flat white is supposed to be made.
Great place for food, cup cakes and coffee! I would like to suggest that the staff do not keep their same gloves on when they are outside of the food preparation area. Also, to wear hair nets when preparing food.
As you enter you are greeted by the gentle aroma of baked goods and freshly ground coffee. Expresso is sharp, tangy, and absolutely not bitter - delightful. Croissants are fluffy, crispy, and not too sweet. A real gem.
To the management: please bring back for here cups — there’s already for here plates & water glasses, why not do it (optionally) for coffee?
Visited on a rainy day which made the tea tastes better? ️ —
However slighty frustrated with the person serving us, he was having difficulty taking our order and put a dine-in order as take away (didn’t correct it after I mentioned dine-in).
Specious cafe with lots of seating inside and outside, had the spicy tuna and that was huge and a coffee
This place is spectacular! Amazing food, super fresh and came out quickly. We had the creme brulee french toast, a massive croissant and a HUGE cinnamon raisin roll. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! We will definitely be back!
The seeded wheat sourdough bread is amazing - as well as the yogurt turmeric bread. They pour some kind of lemon oil on the bread. It is inspired.
I love this Place! I visited many times for lunch. The best bread in town! Nice hot chocolatier, amazing lunch for example the vegan chilli was amazing! Nice service and cookies. I just love this place!
Great coffee and baked goodies, but the place closes way too early on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Great coffee selection.
The biscuit sandwich was one of the best ones I've ever had, and I generally try to find biscuit spots when I travel. I literally almost bought another one for the road, but I care about my health to some extent.
They also had some cool pastries as well. Can't wait to go back.
Wonderful experience of their delicious food. The biscuit breakfast Sammie’s were such a treat. Coming from MIAMI it’s almost impossible to find a good biscuit down here so it was a dream to try theirs. Will definitely be going back when we visit DC again.
Great food/drinks and ambience, but there's NO WIFI! As someone who enjoys going to coffee shops to do school work, this is very disappointing.
Awesome baked goods and friendly neighborhood service. Perfect spot to take visiting friends for a quick SM bite before exploring the city
