The overnight shelter is a lot to deal with. If u really are striving to get ur life together make this facility very TEMPORARY.now the day center or the one-stop center is very much intune with helping people out.for me no matter what it begins with U & ends with U. U have to want the help & work with the Staff to move forward. God BLESS.

I was really disappointed to hear from several women that Adams Place is not female friendly. Hopefully things will change, but until I hear otherwise I will be staying away. It’s bad enough when you are homeless to have to deal with the stigma, but then to have to suffer belittlement at the very places you are trying to receive help is appalling. Men and women in power should be lifting women at a disadvantage up, not tearing them down. It has been reported that the staff and security officers are just as bad as the clients living there and using the facilities. Multiple women have told me of being mistreated by staff, security, and the very men who stay there. Change is in the air, I hope the wind blows Adam’s way. Change for the better, a change for good. Treat women with the respect they deserve and not as second class citizens. All women deserve a chance at a better tomorrow, just as men do. Lift her up and stop letting her down.

Not a place you want to be unless you need initiation to being a volunteer and/or social worker.: o

I found myself stuck in Washington DC for 3 1/2 weeks last month, February. This place is run by the CATHOLIC CHAIRITYS ORGANIZATION. They don't care what your color is, or your creed! Fantastic people work there.

We all need a fix when it comes to finding our place here in Washington, DC. If your not familiar than stop by your local Ctholic Charities and ask for a hand in the right direction. Can't make it home after that bottle of beer. Then check in for a place to sober up and get back on your feet. It really helps to keep your insurance policies down. Trust me I know.

One of the shelters in Washington D. C for homeless men. They try and do as much as possible with the little bit they have.

Your still responsible for raping and torturing countless children and slaughtering millions of innocent souls no matter how much charity you do.
