Addison Group, Washington DC

I received a phone call from Connor Salazar on Friday January 19th after he found my resume online. I informed him my grandmother had just passed away and I was not looking for anything nor was it a good time to talk.

Connor proceeds to call me again on Monday January 22nd asking all the same questions he already asked on Friday and didn’t even give condolences as to what I’m going through. I let him know I’m not interested and he proceeds to say he doesn’t have anything for me anyways since I’m not open to hybrid.

If this is how all of their associates are, please save yourself the trouble and find temp/contract/direct roles through another agency.

READ ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Waste of time! AVOID! They deserve ZERO STARS! DO NOT TRUST MARIA VASQUEZ! I found out the position she was recruiting me for doesn’t even exist. I looked up the company and position and they are NOT hiring for that position at all. There’s too many negative reviews and they are all saying the same thing. Don’t send them your info! They will hound you with calls and emails and then GHOST YOU. I should’ve checked out the reviews first before I talked to them. They will act like the job is super URGENT and they need someone right away to get you to speak to them over Teams video call. I received a call from Maria Vazquez twice and an email about a job that is so urgent that she needed to speak to me over Teams that same day she called me. Well, I followed up after that Teams interview and never heard back. They screen your calls too because they don’t answer the main office line at all. These unprofessional recruiters need to seriously stop because there’s a lot people out here that truly need a job. Don’t believe the positive reviews, they are probably from people they know. HireStrategy was acquired by Addison Group. What’s that saying/phrase…. A leopard never changes its spots!

Horrible company and a total sham.they will ring your phone off the hook to collect all your info.then you will never hear from them again.

I will say that in my 25 years of IT work, with alot of Contract expereance. This may be the most unprofessional company that I have ever worked for.

To this company it's all about thier client, but the Staff is only a body to fill contract obligations. They constantly move you from recruiter to recruiter, making it imposable for them to establish a relationship with staff.
