Alero Restaurant reviews
31We waited for 25 mins waiter never came to get our order. The second 2 White guys stepped in and sat down the waiter at that section helped them out. It was not busy so I don’t understand what took sooo long to come and greet us/take our order! Disappointing way to end the night!
My friend had made a reservation at 7: 30 and was told the evening (an hour before) that she needed to be at the reservation by the time and that they could only hold the table for 15 minutes. Additiononally, she was told that at least 10 people needed to be here. Utterly ridiculous as this information should’ve been shared before. The hostess were rude and not accommodating at all.
Good food, limited beer selection, but that's understandable considering they only carry Mexican style beer.
Good happy hour menu.
I was here for the brunch buffet to watch the world cup final between France and Croatia. Some of the servers were pretty cute. The food was pretty tasty as well. However, I asked three separate servers for a glass of water, and I'm still waiting for it.
Great happy hour! Great service, great frozen margaritas, quesadillas, and nachos. Lovely place with awesome frida kahlo art and fun atmosphere.
I love coming to Aleros! The staff is always so friendly, attentive, the food comes out quick and hot. The food here is so good, the drinks are good, the prices are reasonable, the quantity of food are great portions for each plate. The music is entertaining, when it's your birthday they make a big deal and sing to you and play instruments. The location is directly across from the metro, this place is always clean. Whether you come for brunch or to party at night, it's place is great.
Bartender was rude refused to give water after ordering a pitcher of patron margaritas (was quoted $50 but was charged $83.00 after auto-gratuity (which was for a party of 3) and taxes) - however they did find my wallet and keep it safe - although $30 cash was missing.last year they were 5 stars this year not so much - hopefully next year will be better
Food was just alright. Salsa was no buenos. Just canned tomatoes and stuff. Basics. Drinks horrible and costly.
Pretty good chips, good salt to wheat mix - an art that is lost in pre-drink chips. Alero nails it though. Also the melocoton del georgia margarita is delectable although it hasn't gotten to my table yet. Our server was very impressed with my Spanish speaking ability-said it was the best he's seen since he's been in the country. Will be back for more compliments.
Food is great I’ve been here twice and got the chicken fajitas and I cannot complain at all. The frozen margaritas are incredible and are unmatched in the area and I highly recommend this place
Got the pork rib platter and nothing had taste, my fries were over cooked and the coleslaw was bland as hell. I will not be going back.oh yeah, for what they give u, the food is over priced.
