Cockroach problem. Four of us sat inside and after a while we had a roach walking up the wall of our booth. We didn't make a big deal since it is a dive bar so we switched booth only to have a roach walk over my friend's lap within minutes of sitting down. Bar man didn't care when I brought it to his attention. Avoid this place.

American Ice Company offers a unique setting close to both 9: 30, The Atlantis, and the Green Line. We had the nachos, which are legit. It's not one of those cheap places where they only put stuff on top and 5 minutes in your eating naked tortilla chips. We also have the veggie dog, which comes with veggie chili. I would recommend both dishes to anyone seeking vegetarian or meatless dishes. Their selection of beer is vast and affordable.

Service was on point! Server was always there to serve us another round of drinks. Water cups filled without asking. Food was great including the highly recommended half smoke with side of coleslaw and pickle. I’d go back just for that dish every time. Vibe is real cool inside. Very laid back and relaxed. We were there when it wasn’t too busy (Thursday afternoon) so may be an entirely different beast at night and on weekends.

Absolutely terrible! They claim that they provide local residents with a 10% discount, however, we went there tonight and showed our ID and no discount was taken off our check! Our ID shows residence in zip code 20001. We even made sure to ask about the 10% discount when requesting our final bill.

Sorry but what on earth is an “auto gratuity” when we were just two people drinking? Not cool. I prefer to be asked how much I’m going to tip. I won’t be coming again.

Hipster bar filled with hipsters. Chairs without backs, wood decor, and dim lighting. A classic hipster experience. Uncharacteristically, the staff was friendly. I liked it a lot. Would return!

Staff changes the channel to watch what they want instead of what paying customers ask for. You’re better off going next door where they have more TVs and friendlier staff.
