Andy's Pizza NOMA reviews
18So Andy’s Pizza is awesome. But unfortunately, literally every time I have tried to order delivery with them, it hasn’t worked out because for some reason they cannot handle delivery on any standard weekend night? The first time I ordered, my delivery driver hung around the store for literally two hours before he finally gave up. Tonight, I ordered at like 5: 30pm and was notified like 15 minutes later that my order had been cancelled? Tried again directly through the Andy’s website and it went through, but fortunately I looked again and apparently my order had been routed to the Alexandria location (as opposed to NOMA, which is actually near where I live). I don’t understand how a pizza place cannot manage delivery. The person I talked to on the phone was super kind and apologetic and it’s def not her fault—but man, guys: would LOVE to be able to get ahold of your pizza without it being a whole ordeal. Getting a pizza delivered seriously shouldn’t be this hard, but given that going to pick it up is kinda not possible for me, I guess I’m outta luck. Super bummer.
Fab beer selection, great pizza. Loved the burrata one. But the 'championship' cheese pizza was honestly not nearly as amazing as I would've thought. I'll be going back 10000% and probably regularly. But I'll opt for the more interesting pizzas.
I've had it the Andy's Pizza before at the Navy Yard location, and it's incredible as always. Crisp crust on the thinner side with options like ricotta or mushroom margherita. The beer selection rocked! I wish they did flights though.
We love this place in our neighborhood. Great pizza and reasonably priced drinks for DC. Amber is one of the best bartenders in the neighborhood!
I want to hate this place because it’s new, it’s kind of overpriced, and it’s under an apartment complex…. BUT the happy hour is solid- Atlas pale ale is $5 and delicious and 24-hr brined chicken tenders are solid. So when the happy hour is good your compelled to move onto the main menu, and the Caesar salad and margherita slice were quite delicious. If you happen to be walking down the sidewalk around 5pm, do stop in for a beer and a snack.
The food at Andy’s is always superb. Every time I’ve gone so far it has been finger licking good. So far I e had the pepperoni, cheese and buffalo chicken pizza A1! I’ve also had the tenders, wings and old bat fries AMAZING! My absolute favorite is their spicy burger with bacon- addextra sauce (my request lol) w the old bay fries. Their burger is in another level! Try them out.
We tried to have a holiday party here, but there was confusion with our reservation. The event manager gave us all the info then ghosted us when we tried to confirm. When we showed up, they were obviously not expecting our group because the dining room wasn't set up for customers. We were allowed to host the party, but no thanks to Andy's pizza. I also don't see what the fuss is about the pizza. It was just average.
The attitude of the young lady who works the from is absolutely horrible. Idk if she is overwhelmed or is she just absolutely hates her job. I had A horrible experience today. I doubt I’ll ever go back again.
N8ce local spot with huge slices and great service. Catch it fresh or order the whole pie for a seriously special treat.
Loved in DC for 5 years and struggled to find decent pizza until Andy’s. The pizza is fantastic and the service is amazing! You won’t be disappointed
Absolutely phenomenal pizza, pepperoni, pepperoni with sausage, vegan pizza, everything! I really highly recommend. Good beers too.
Really nice bar with great drinks and food. Awesome happy hour from 3-7 with food and drink specials. Several TVs for watching sports.
Honestly always so happy with Andy's Pizza. The NoMa one specifically is a great place for happy hour and is also family friendly if you're looking for some good pizza and fun vibes for the kids! (And a drink for the parents!)
I ordered ahead and picked up my pizza (Pepperoni Special Pie) at the scheduled time and the pizza was room temp…. It was still really good.
Great pizza, nice cozy set up and location, and great service. Wide selection of beer as well with all awesome local brands.
She touched her nose and I ask her to change her gloves. She proceeded to touch my food just rude and nasty. Never again
We were visiting from out of town and our friends picked up pizza from their favorite spot, Andy's. We got the Diavolo and half cheese / half pepper and onion pizzas, both of which were amazing. The crust is the star - super thin on the bottom with a delicious, crispy, bubbly crust around the edge. The Diavolo had this Calabrian chili ricotta that was spectacular! It was the perfect kick. Highly recommend.
The pizza was soggy and super thin. Sad that I didn't get Dominoes, and I'm not a fan of Dominoes.
