Asia Nine reviews
16My experience was excellent.what a great food from Asia.our server is very professional and very helpful.
Nice restaurant yo have asian food. Ambience is quite good and the food quality is very good also. Service was good and we have our dinner over there in the weekdays and may be because of this the restaurant was mostly empty. We were greeted upon entering and service was quite fast. Food tasted really nice and price was quite pocket friendly (if you don’t take any alcoholic drink). Food quantity was really good. We ordered sapporo beer and it was mentioned as beer from japan but we noticed that the beer was “made in Vietnam” which sounds funny (as Sapporo beer is quite famous in Japan and I know it). Otherthan our experience was nice there. Will visit again if possible.
I have been a patron of Asia Nine for years. The food is delicious & well-priced. I have tried spring rolls all over the world. Theirs are the best. I highly recommend the Chicken Kapow & Thai Iced Tea
I don’t know why this restaurant is rated 4.2 stars because it should be 6 stars! I’ve eaten Asian food from coast to coast and this food is amazing!
A variety of Asian food in one place. A friend and I shared Japanese Crispy Chicken and Thai Panang Curry with Chicken, each $15. Good food, reasonably priced.
Quick service, wonderfully tasty food and on the same block as the historic Ford's Theatre. Anything on the menu that catches my eye always tastes excellent, and if we have a show to catch we are always done and out the door with plenty of time to spare.
Very flavorful food and whopping portions for a very good price, especially for DC. Was very satisfied with my meal.
I went to a happy hour at Asian Nine and I was not disappointed. There happy hour menu is awesome about the value was great. We started off with their drinks (Thai Whiskey Sour, Hibiscus Mojito) and the combo sampler. We then got the Asian wings and Chicken Skewers prior to getting Panang curry. They had a very polite staff and made us feel at home. We had a great experience there and would go back.
I think it was a ‘Singapore fried rice with shrimp’ which I bought as a takeaway from here one evening. I could be wrong about the name of the dish but it was some sort of a yellow fried rice dish with pineapples. This was surprisingly light, not oily, flavoursome. I cannot fault the food in anyway. I wish I’d given this place a try instead of waiting till last day of our stay. The staff were polite and food was ready to go within a short time span. Should have tried dine in at the restaurant, maybe next time.
Garbage food and a rip off. Strongly suggest people avoid this place. Also watch your receipt my meal was $80 they automatically put on gratuity and they also have the sales tax set at 10%. The DC area sales tax is 6%.
We originally came in for sushi. But once we got here we were told they no longer have a sushi chef. Other than that, the food is delicious and the service is super fast.
Amazing food.
We tried the spring rolls, drunken noodles and Green thai curry.
The vegetables and tofu were very fresh. The ingredients in my curry were so flavourful.
Amazing food. Would recommend their thai curries.
The spicy salad was recommended by staff and it was not spicy but sour tasting. Not good and I paid for it the next morning.
I really had high hopes and high expectations forvacations for Asia 9. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues. One although we were only 1 of 2 sets of people in the restaurant service was extremely slow. Also, The highlight should be the sushi but they didn't have a sushi chef at all. So we got several other dishes including appetizers and meals and none of us were particularly pleased with anything. It wasn't that anything was necessarily bad, but everything was at best average.
The bar is clean an service is great. Happy Hour has excellent Asian wings an $4 draft beer. I'll be back to try the entrees.
