18So not worth the hype or the wait. Cupcakes were displayed beautifully it was fun to reach the front of the line but the cupcakes, blah. Go to bakeshop in falls church if you want a great selection tion of fabulous cookies and cupcakes
Best cupcakes I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend Dirty Chai and Pumpkin flavors! Coffee’s pretty good too.
Worst cupcakes I have ever had. They tasted so stale and old. The cupcake to frosting ratio is so off. Cake is dry and frosting was hard. I bought 4 cupcakes. Expensive too
If you're into long lines for sweets then feel free to stand. Go early but anticipate a wait. I never got a chance to try these cakes, sadly. No time to wait.
Really cute bakery in Georgetown. You can’t help but be pulled in by the cupcake display. We tried the pumpkin ginger bread, goat cheese and chive scone, chocolate doom cupcake, and pretty bitchin cupcake. The pumpkin bread is moist but a little sweeter than I’d prefer. The scone was great, especially the bites with goat cheese in it. The chocolate doom cupcake is more of a bittersweet chocolate. The pretty bitchin cupcake was also less sweet than I expected. Great moist cakes and not over the top sweet, but still extremely flavorful frostings.
A lovely little bakery with many different flavors of cupcakes. They also sell coffee and tea on the other side of the counter. The staff mentioned that carrot cake and strawberry are two popular flavors in their cupcakes. Carrot cake is pretty delicious, but strawberry is just okay for me. Although I don’t like frosting in general, my friend said that their frosting felt freshly made and he actually enjoyed it. Overall, the drinks and cake are a bit too sweet for me, but I guess it might be just fine for others.
I had a huge hair in my food and the cupcakes were so dry. I went back for a refund and the manger has no communication skills. He kept running away from me and he said he refunded me but he never gave me a clear answer and quickly left. When I asked his nice employee where he went she apologized on his behalf and had to go talk to him for me. It was an odd experience.
I really enjoyed this location. When we arrived there was a small line, but it wasn't too long to get in, maybe about 10 min. We ordered a couple drinks, 4 cupcakes, and a rice crispies treat. I ordered the Thai tea. Very cool presentation, and it was good! My favorite was the rice crispies treat. I love that it isn't super sugary. The cupcakes were also good, but they were all just cupcakes with flavored frosting. My favorite was the German chocolate, but that flavor has always had a special place in my heart.
The vibe in this place is great. My cousin loved her cupcake. But my pie and the lemon loaf seriously let me down.
Returned here after four years, and this place still doesn't disappoint. Very friendly staff with great cupcakes. It was a little sad that they don't allow dine in, but oh well, that's covid for ya.
These are the best cupcakes in DC. The Doom cupcake is my favorite, but all of them are awesome!
Good quality baked goods. The cupcake in the middle of this gift box is their carrot cake cupcake.
Had an incredible cupcake and oat milk latte combo and roamed the canals with them — it was lovely. The store is a bit odd in that it’s split into two lines — one for the coffee bar and one for the baked goods. My partner and I just split up and each got in a line and it went pretty quick. There’s not much seating, but you can’t expect too much of that when we’re still in a pandemic. Highly recommend — very delicious!
Awful, huge cupcakes. I would rather get great small cupcakes from georgetown cupcakes. This one doesn't even come close to in their frosting flavor to Georgetown
Cupcakes are worth the visit and live up to the hype. The line was out the door for this popular gem.
Pre Covid this was the best and homiest cafe in Georgetown with the best cupcakes despite what food network says. Now without the comfy indoor seating, it is still the best. Worth the visit.
Really good cupcakes. Awesome place to grab a bite to eat and a coffee. Would recommend!
The peanut butter and red velvet were great
