A lovely evening! We came for the cocktail flight & ordered some bites to help with the alcohol consumption. I don’t want to spoil it by going through all the tiny details of our evening but know that the staff is professional & friendly, the cocktails are wonderfully curated, there’s bites if you get hungry & all in all a great evening to unwind & enjoy oneself!

Overall experience was well worth the price. The flavors of the drinks were complex but tasteful. Jeff was our server and he was super knowledgeable about all the various flavors. He was enthusiastic and super accommodating when there was a flavor that I wasn’t a fan of. Michael the manager on staff was amazing and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our experience at periodic points throughout the night. Overall worth it.

What an enjoyable experience! From arriving to leaving 6 cocktails in a couple hours later, this place delivered a high end yet comfortable top notch experience. Each cocktail represents a different José Andrés restaurant in DC. The price was $150/person to make the reservation for 6 different drinks. Though the drinks were smaller than a usual cocktail in size, they were full in flavor, balance and presentation. Our server did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable, and giving us information on what they were serving to us next.
Typically places like this get too caught up on being high end that they don’t always deliver on quality and a comfortable experience. This place maintained a high end experience with a very fun and friendly environment. I will definitely return to try other drinks out in the future.

Unfortunately the flight was a miss for me, with only one out of 5 cocktails being something I would order again A bit overdone, but I can see how someone may enjoy the experience. I am guessing the experience may have been better if we picked from the menu to better match what we wanted.

My husband and I had an amazing experience. The staff is phenomenal, the drinks are fabulous and the snacks are to die for. Highly recommend this experience!

The indoor decor gave me science lab vibes - a place where one can experiment on perfecting a cocktail. The service was top notch, with the presentation and making sure that we enjoyed the drinks. We had signed up for their cocktail flight experience, so they sent over 5 cocktails, all with a Japanese inspiration to them. There was one that was a bit more liquor forward with Japanese whiskey that i wasn't a fan of (mainly because i can't drink whiskey), and the staff was kind enough to switch it out for me.
This is definitely a spot to check out for a special occasion and if you love a good quality cocktail.

Had a great experience with some friends at Barmini. There's no doubt the staff is professional and the atmosphere is sheik. This isn't a watering hole, it's a high-end experience. It's almost counter Jose Andres.
The drink flight is tasty. They are definitely prepared by mixologist. I would recommend the experience. By the way, without a doubt, the best grilled cheese apps are a must.

What a great experience! I was worried that I wouldn't like the drinks. But I was wrong. They were all fantastic. And beautiful! My friend didn't like one and they replaced it with something she loved. This was worth the cost easily. The food was excellent as well. We had the grilled cheese, sirloin waffle and bourbon banana dessert. All were perfect paired with our drinks. The service was informative without being intrusive.

The drinks and snacks are exceptional. The only issue was that we were rushed out of the restaurant, in spite of spending about $600 on the total bill. That seems to imply a lack of respect for the customer. If we order a lot, we should be able to take the time to enjoy it. I will not return to a restaurant that doesn't respect me.

Always love my time at Barmini! The service, the drinks, and the atmosphere never disappoint. Thank you for being my must go stop in DC every time I visit!

Absolutely spectacular! We loved it and will likely tell our children about the experience in our old age. - It was that amazing!

If you get anything definitely get the bread sticks - I was raving about those more than the drinks. I think the drinks drinks were definitely good, but seemed a little gimmicky imho.

Amazing place, LN2 Caipirinha is a must-order. They make it next to you with a fun presentation.

Service is top notch at this bar. Gina is amazing! She was attentive to detail and super friendly. The cocktails were amazing, as well as the food. The waffle flight is a must!

My first 3 visits to BarMini were incredible. The staff was friendly, inviting, super interested in explaining the different drinks, and innovating something new if the menu wasn’t enough, BUT the last time I went, it seemed like the inspiration, motivation, and charisma had waned.

The cocktails were still good, but I can get good cocktails at a million other places in DC, and due to the moderate difficulty of getting reservations here, I expect something more.

It was sad to see one of my favorite cocktail bars lose its charm. It seems like it’s losing its fun and beginning to cater to the old, boring business crowd clad in grey suits and pinstripe shirts.

I’ll be heading to Silver Lyan from now on.

Unforgettable cocktails with wild presentation but the flavors are even more impressive. Fun cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff. A real treat.

Amazing menu and staff. Better than Vegas - more endearing and qualitative - sommelier quite a bit out of sync however. Doesn’t seem to know how to accommodate or adjust if you don’t pick the wine pairing; Several Courses I just had my water - a couple mixed messages on pairing. And other attendees seemed on their own and not part of a group experience. Would’ve loved some way to make it feel more collective/cohesive. There were just a lot of frowny people taking themselves too seriously and just taking pics of food and not also appreciating the orchestration and artistry. The music was fun, the staff was amazing, the menu was out of this world, the service was beyond, the space was cozy, and I don’t think the patrons really appreciated the experience.

Came here for cocktails and bar bites and it was seriously the best drinks I’ve had! I would highly recommend visiting if you can. Perfect for special occasions!
