Why am I not surprised that this organization has such a low rating? The way they handle online customer reviews makes me wonder if it's a legitimate business. I've reviewed a couple of businesses on the BBB website, but this time they emailed me, asking for my personal and confidential information before they would post my review. I inquired about their policies for protecting customers' information from third parties, but they never replied. They were slow to respond to emails, and when I asked about their terms, they stopped responding altogether. This organization feels like a scam. It seems they prioritize businesses over consumers.

How can you help when you never answer the phone. Total joke! We should all call the BBB on the BBB.

I call this BBB location today and spoke to the most impatient and Snarky operator. I didn't catch her name, but she do not need to man the phones when people call for information. I must have interruputed her while she was on Instagram or Facebook because she surely made it know that she knew my questions before I asked. She needs to listen first before rudely and abruptly cutting people off and you know who you are because the timestamp on my phone was at 11: 50AM 5/9/2023.

UPDATE (5/8/23) :
Thanks to whoever contacted me through my review. I'm aware of the hours your operators are said to be available; but whenever I called during those times, I'd just get the machine and am not even offered to option to wait for one to become available. Instead the call is ended prematurely.
I have emailed your director of operations though, this past Friday; and I appreciate your response.

Hopefully, I'm able to file this report I need to file ASAP

I strongly believe all the most recent 5 star reviews - or even ANY review above 1 star - are fake. Whether you call the (202) or (717) numbers, you get the same automated voice messaging system which leads you absolutely nowhere no matter which button/menu option you select.
It's calling to question the general existence of this "supposed" branch of the better business bureau. I've even tried emailing them. I don't believe this office exists. You'd do better probably trying another state / headquarters and seeing if you can be transferred to the correct number / office.

I purchased replacement windows for my entire house several years ago and to make a long story short dealt with glass failures multiple times over a number of years. Even though the contract I signed guaranteed free replacement and/or repair (to include materials & labor) to address any issues, the company decided that they were no longer going to honor our contract. I fought for a good 4-6 months trying to get them to do the right thing. Finally, I contacted the Better Business Bureau (BBB) seeking help. The BBB has in place a methodical process, acting as an arbitrator, to try and help both the business and consumer come of a fair resolution. In my particular case, the BBB persuaded the company to honor the contract and the necessary repairs were completed. My special thanks go out to David Dennis and Angela Obitz from the BBB of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania. Both individuals were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I corresponded frequently with Angela and she was a dream to work with. The BBB really did come through for me when I had all but given up hope.

I enquired about joining the Better Business Bureau as a business owner, but then decided not to go ahead.

Their representatives would not stop calling me with high-pressure sales tactics to join the bureau and pay their yearly fee.

I’m embarrassed for you BBB, really I am.

I want to say thank you to BBB as I had. Horrible time getting resolution with a complaint, I filed my complaint and the BBB took action. I was able to get my refund and proper resolution. Thanks again BBB

Pretty much useless. Close cases to the benefit of the business and not the consumer. Seems contrary to their mission, no? Something amiss there.
