Very nice hotel. Didnt eat at the bistro but You will get what you pay for at the hotel and its a pretty penny. Only stayed for a night because we were there for an event that lasted one day but I loved the experience. Only thing is parking will be an issue. You gotta pay to park unless its after 630pm on the weekend. You can park across the street.

Went here for an anniversary weekend. We both started with the Shellfish Bisque. Wife had the Beef Bourguignon and the fruit tart for dessert. I had the Duck Confit and the apple pastry. The food was excellent! Well seasoned, properly prepared. Just a joy you experience. Our server was engaging, attentive, & funny. Overall it was a really nice vibe with the music in th e background, a few people at the bar, and convenient since we were staying at The George. Oh, before I forget, I had the absolute best Mexcal White Negroni there that I would go back for alone. Everything was on point, even though nothing was planned. We truly enjoyed our experience at Bistro Bis.

I've been going to Bistro Bis for about 13 years, and the food is always perfect. My favorite restaurant in DC.

The food here is absolutely delectable. I highly suggest the steak. There are few steaks I would give a one hundred percent rating to, and this is one of them. It rivaled the ones I had in Florence, Italy. The service was immaculate, and the waitstaff top notch.

Bartender described an IPA only as malty. Of course it's a hoppy beer. I ordered a High West Double Rye. He asked "a double? " I said no, a double rye. He poured and charged a double. I enjoyed it, but he is not a professional. So when he finally offered to take my order I declined and did room service at my hotel. Train your staff please.

Relaxed and classy ambiance with friendly and professional staff. We came for the Beef Bourguignon, which did not disappoint. The mashed potatoes were too fine and lacking texture so I choose to do without them. The manager, Memo, suggested Polenta, which individually, was well prepared but didn't pair as well as the mashed potatoes do with Beef Bourguignon. My server, Pam, recommended an excellent wine pairing. The service is the driving factor behind my 5 starts. The 19 year tenured manager really made our evening with a great conversation. We would definitely consider coming back. I recommend this Bistro.

Service is always good (a dozen visits and still going strong). Food is delicious. French onion soup should be served in a bucket.

Came here during winter restaurant week. Friendly staff and nice ambience. The food was hit or miss. The entrees were great, but appetizers really varied in size and taste and not all were good. The beet salad was very small and simple.

@bistrobisdc KILLED IT and you absolutely have to visit them. Not only do they have a great food portions and quality is phenomenal, but drinks were really good here too, reccomend the French martini. For $40/person you can enjoy a app, entrée & dessert during restaurant week!
️ Onion soup les halles: delish & tradional
️Mussels marseillaise: huge portion, cooked well and such a great appetizer
️Coq au vin: Tender, juicy, classic dinner full of flavour
️Braised Lamb shank provençale: HUGE, perfectly cooked, if you like Lamb you have try this one
️ Duck confit touloussienne: scrumptious, tender and a classic you can't do wrong with
️Branzino amandine: *Chefs kiss* The sauce, the plating, honestly this was probably my favourite but close second would be the lamb
️Opera cake: Classic paired with this coffee anglaise that will dream about until I have again
️ Tarte au citron: Tangy, like a party on your tounge
️Blacmange: Unique, neutralizes the pallete with fun textures
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and fantastic GM last night as well, who are both such good people. Thank you for having me and I cannot wait to come back here! If you're reading this, this is your BOLD sign to go visit and take advantage of RW DC.

I have eaten at Bistro Bis for over a decade and it never disappoints! The atmosphere is modern luxe, the staff are thoroughly professional, and the food outstanding. I introduced my 28 year old daughter to BB today for lunch during restaurant week and she loved it! Highly recommend!

Beware of the prices on the menu photos. Even the one that is two months old is out of date: the prices are much higher.

Moreover the food is mediocre at best.
