Frequented this place for over 10 years. It was great back then and still great now. French onion soup is a classic, and of course, the escargot!

Today is my girlfriend's birthday. She loves this restaurant and this is where she wanted to go to celebrate. I made a reservation online for 8: 45pm. The restaurant closes at 9: 30. I even called and confirmed that their kitchen will be closing at 9pm. This would have given us ample time to order and eat as we're not the types that stay for 2 hours.

I just received a call to cancel our reservation because they decided to close the kitchen early at 8: 30pm. Now I have to make other plans.

ABSOLUTELY UNNACCEPTABE AND WILL NEVER DINE HERE AGAIN!

We have been to Bistro Du Coin before but this time it was not as good as previous experiences. The French onion soup was one of the best I’ve had but the two orders of steak frites were undercooked and the meat was tough. Also, the service was not great and the food took really long to prepare. Overall, it was good but we have had better steak frites in other French bistro type restaurants. I do have to end by saying the desserts were delicious!

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the mini ravioli with seafood and mushroom as an entrée and crème brûlée for dessert and was thoroughly impressed by both. I’m someone who typically gets very bored with pasta dishes but that couldn’t have been further from my experience with this ravioli dish. It was rich and tasty all the way through. And the crème brûlée was sweet but not overwhelming, and was of the perfect creamy texture. My friend got the beef stew and said the meat was tender and the stew well seasoned.

Highly recommend! But either make a reservation or get there earlier in the evening because it gets packed - understandably, given how delicious it is!

This is our go to place in DC. Great food, ambiance. Got engaged here 12 years ago and keep coming back for all occasions. It was very busy tonight as we took out of town guests there. Good to see the business is thriving during these trying times.

Very friendly staff. Their steak sos is soooo good! Gelato was tasty! And see food is great. Loved it with my wife. It is an old restaurant and has kept its personality. You should try it.

Truly a great spot in DC. The food is great and the service attentive. What more can you ask for? Well, I'll tell you: Foi Gras & Risotto.

Place used to be great. Went the other night after a long hiatus from it and the the ambiance is ruined. They have their lights on full bright, place looks like a diner now (PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL LIGHTING). They used to have very dim lighting which gave the place an intimate and secluded feeling. The service was terrible. Food took forever and our card was misplaced. When they brought us the check it was another table’s check that had already been signed. Food quality is good but the aforementioned issues reduce the overall experience to a pretty poor one.

Fun atmosphere with great food. I ordered the mini ravioli with seafood and mushroom sauce. It came with lots of melted cheese and was tasty but it was a heavy and rich dish. Great selection of alcohol and the cosmopolitan was the drink of choice at my table. The bread was tasty and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend.

One of the best French food with reasonable price. Very homey and European atmosphere. Favorite go to stop for Steak & Frits and muscles.

One waitress was managing the upstairs and the downstairs during a busy dinner hour. It's legit classic french food and the vibe is great.

Great food, fun atmosphere. It's a little pricey, but the dishes are out of this world. If you order a full mussel meal you could probably share it with someone. Their mini ravioli dish is also amazing. Indoors, it can get quite packed when they're busy. The tables are pretty close together. All the food feels authentic and the staff is great.

Really love this place. The food is very flavourful, atmosphere is nice, the prices are moderate. What else would you want from Belgian bistro?

Disappointing return to Bistro du coin after 4.5 year hiatus. Service very slow, fries had no crunch, omelette was bland, waited for our drinks for 30 mins

I'm very confused as to all the raving reviews. Came here for brunch and it was some of the worst food I've ever had in my life. Escargot was great. Other dishes were highly disappointing. Maybe dinner is different but I wouldn't return.
