Had prix fixe dinner for 4
shrimp cocktail and the suaces were amazing
steak cooked to perfection and everyone loved their ide dishes.our fav was the fried brusselprouts.best steak i had so far

for desserf we had the cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake.the latter was sooo much better.the cheesecake was below mediocre

My word, where to begin! Bobby Van’s was AWESOME. The ambiance, the food… it was an incredible experience for both my wife and I. My wife had the filet, I had the bone in New York strip (it was a special that evening).

The garlic mashed potatoes were outstanding and the steaks were perfect (and I do mean perfect). My wife had the hash browns and we weren’t impressed, but the rest of the fantastic meal and the atmosphere made up for the one little “oops”. I can’t wait to go back next year. Perfect date night restaurant.

No seriously, one of the best filets I've had in over probably 8-10 yrs easily. Made it to the top 5 lifetime for sure! I can't recommend it enough, under rated for sure. They deserve way higher. Thanks to Mario behind the bar taking great care of me and Hector the manager was very attentive. The steak was so tender, so moist, and perfectly cooked medium the whole way thru. It was refreshing for sure. Can't wait until my trip back here next year. If you're looking for a great steak and environment, head here. You'll be glad you did!

When I first showed up host was terrible took over 10 minutes before someone came and set me and my family down then the food was cold and they only had three drinks available overall bad spot to eat at

Honestly this was the worse experience ever. My boyfriend ordered appetizer entrée, and a side. When he ordered that the waiter told my boyfriend “are you sure you want to order all that food” “you must be a big boy then” basically calling my boyfriend fat and the waiter had no business making a comment like that. I ordered the scallops and I didn’t like the scallops so I returned it back and when I told the chef I didn’t like it, he got offended and asked me if that was my first time ordering scallops. No it wasn’t my first time, I just didn’t like the scallops. When we first came in the hostess immediately said it’s gonna be a 10 minute wait when in reality we had a reservation and when we told her we had a reservation she didn’t even apologize. I will never come back to this restaurant. Disgusted by the costumer service. This happened February 11,2023.

First time trying this place and the staff was super nice bread and butter was amazing…. Drinks as well. But the mac and cheese was too soupy for our liking and the lamb chops were super tiny. Very pricy as well.

After a long afternoon of site seeing, had dinner at Bobby Van's Steakhouse. The atmosphere was so tranquil. The servers were so pleasant and helpful, coming around frequently to ask if everything was alright and I needed anything. My drink was always full, I'm a water kinda gal! The fish, veggies, and white rice blend so beautifully. An explosion of taste. Best choice!

Shrimp cocktail nice size! Creamed spinach a little too much nutmeg.

My issue was the service. I bought a groupon & I happen to be black and they made sure to let the whole restaurant know I was dining w/ a groupon & what I could & could not get…and then to top it off they sat all the blacks in one corner of the restaurant ironically. Idk if they noticed but I did.
Hated the service yet would still get a takeout steak from there. Filet mignon was seasoned & cooked perfectly!

Don’t do it. Tired, silk flowers and disengaged staff. The place needs a makeover. And, the crowd needs an upgrade—definitely not trending!

Waited 25 minutes and no staff. Asked waiter to order, still no staff. Grabbed my own straw, still no staff.

Never made it to the food—don’t do it!

We were in DC visiting for vacation and found a Groupon that seemed reasonable for a prix fixe and decided to give it a try. We arrived for our reserved time and were immediately seated. It was downhill from there.

The lighting was surprisingly bright for a high end steak restaurant and the music was loud and cheesy, kinda yacht-rock. We asked if the music could change to more soothing and lower volume and the waitress agreed but it didn’t change. The booths were very worn out with very lumpy padding that was very uncomfortable.

We were convinced to try the French onion soup as an appetizer and we ordered a bottle of wine. When the soup arrived, we took a bite and were absolutely appalled. They tasted like very salty water with a splash of beef broth. I still can’t get that taste out of my mouth after a full day.

We asked to just pay for the wine and agreed to cancel and refund the Groupon. We then went to another popular steak restaurant a few blocks away and enjoyed one of the best dinners we have ever had. I don’t understand how the reviews for this place are so generous as literally everything missed the mark. I recommend dining elsewhere.

Bomb food and great customer service. Our server, Apolinar was great and even got us complimentary drinks for our anniversary dinner. We got the shrimp cocktail, ceaser salad, salmon and shrimp pasta which was AMAZING! The drinks were strong too!

The service is excellent here. The food ranges from delicious (steak, brussel sprouts with bacon, Cobb salad) to okay (burrata cheese and pesto delicious, base of dish (tomatoes) quite unripe, pink/white in color, and hard). Place might be ok to visit if you want to impress a client and can expense the meal to a business account, but prices too high for me, won't be back.

Mario and the whole crew was great and the food was definitely 5 Stars Ordered the clam linguine and coming from one of the best Seafood states I would give this place a 5 Star
