Bolling Commissary reviews
25This commissary needs to be updated in a lot of different ways. I have issues where the baggers were expecting a higher tip regardless of how many bags they actually complete sometimes I go with WIC checks and expect me as a low income military to get done at 10: $15 tip? Most of the food is past there do they and the prices are insanely high compared to regular stores right outside the base.
Has the best rotisserie chicken and tuna salad! I do 80% of my grocery shopping there. The commissary is lacking on fresh fruits and vegetables though.
Andrews has fresher selections in produces and JBAB has expired stuff on shelves. I now only come here I need something quick or try to get something when I don't feel like driving 30 mins to shop. Sad really cause the people there are helpful and nice but it seems as it's not being ran how it should be. Hopefully it will change when the Air Force takes over but they do have a lot of work to do at that base.
Pleasant greeter working tonight checking access privileges and handing out supplies to ensure our safety.
Thanks much Team DECA JBAB!
Nice store, organized well. Prices are fair. Smaller than other commissaries in the area. Overall a good resource.
During this pandemic, this commissary has been the "Go-to" for produce! Always stocked with the items we are looking for.
Go with my neighbor. She has excess to the Commissary. Love going out with her. She is 83 years young.
Good, little commissary. It would be nice if they could increase the size 25% or so to increase the selection but the employees are very friendly.
It has all the necessary foods for my family, but it is missing some organization and many of the foods my family would like to have. The produce could be better, as well. Over all, though, the commissary is convenient with helpful workers. I'll continue to use it for my weekly shopping trips.
Almost never crowded and low prices all around. Produce was fresh and plentiful. I don't come here often since I live 45 minutes away but when I do come, I never have any complaints.
Perfect size commissary - not too big, not too small. It has all the everyday necessities that one needs for healthy everyday cooking plus a lot of organic and non/gmo items that I’m used to since moving from Europe.
This commissary has been going downhill over the two years I have shopped here. Saturday morning, 0800, you would think everything would be restocked, overflowing. Not the case, too many items to mention. Save yourself the disappointment, take the extra half hour and drive to Andrews or Ft. Belvoir.
Fairly good commissary which meets the needs of the folks who work at JBAB. I especially enjoyed the fresh wraps that were available during lunch.
Always a nice shopping experience, theybarecalways stocked well. We are able to get in get what we nees then get our pretty quickly most of the time.
Customer service is great! Always clean. But everything is all over the place. There is a bunch of racks everywhere with random goods. So if you can’t find something in its respective place it may be on one of the racks around the store.
So it’s your standard base commissary. But everything can be out of place. Don’t know what’s up with that.
Trick if they don’t have what you want, you can request it.
Smaller commissary but quick and efficient and checkout ladies were all amazing and fast.yes, my dumb butt had to go back in multiple times.
A good variety of products for the size of the commissary but not the same as Ft. Belvoir which is twice the size.
This place has to be the worst commissary in the DC metro area. Frozen food is left to thaw in the ailes while the person responsible for stocking the freezers is MIA.to The shelves are missing most items because they don't seem to be able to do inventory.
I'm so unfortunate that it's the one closest it me. Whenever possible I highly recommend Ft Myers and Ft Belvoir commissary's. They make Jbab commissary look like it should be shut down.
I love going to the different commissary. But, JBAB store okay. There were a lot of items that were not on the shelves. But, I know in heart there going to do better.
