Boundary Stone reviews
16Watched a US match here the other day, the feeling inside was electric! Our bartender, Keyon, took great care of us. The rail old fashion was strong and tasted good, I asked for a less hoppy beer and Keyon picked out a really nice option for me (Optimal Wit!). The chicken fingers were alright, could have been more flavorful. But everything about the service and space were just what I needed!
Great place, especially for watching Philadelphia sports! Feels like a good old fashioned bar, no frills or gimmicks. The kitchen menu offers a excellent variety of dishes. Definitely will be coming around for games in future!
This is THE place to watch an Eagles Game when in DC!
The entire staff was incredibly friendly.
The customers all made me feel like I was home in Philly. Good food, great beer selection.
Our bartender was awesome.
Also, the bar is very LGBTQ friendly so yes it's a safe space!
This place checks all the boxes.
Thanks for a great experience!
Really nice place, terrible company but that was my fault. Not the cheapest bar, but very comfortable and friendly.
We really enjoyed this place. We stopped in for drinks on a Saturday night. Nice decor. Great service. Old Fashioned drinks were great. I would definitely recommend this place. UPDATE: We went back and had the burger, honey fried chicken, wings, mozzarella sticks, ceaser salad, brussel sprouts, and chips. Mozzarella sticks were a little cold. Everything else was good.
4 of us really enjoyed this neighborhood spot. 2 of went with the delicious boundary stone burger with the slice of beet and 2 of got delicious crab cake sandwiches. The homemade potato chips with Old Bay seasoning were great with the crab. The hand-cut fries were crispy and good. We had the Margarita and also a selection of the IPA local brews. Some local talent started playing at 8p.
Our wait person was Elaine. So helpful and friendly. She made the evening perfect. We took home a couple warm peach cobblers to share. We were way too full to eat anymore there. Highly recommended.
Excellent spot in the heart of Bloomingdale. New American style pub offerings with solid cocktails and exceptionally warm service.
We went for brunch and had a really great experience from start to finish. Their house Bloody Mary is the best so far I've had in DC, a robust one with just enough heat to make it interesting.
We tried the deviled eggs and they were pretty good. The eggs themselves were a bit ordinary but the jalapeno crisps were a nice touch that tipped things over to good.
My main was the sausage Benedict with their homemade sausage and it was solid, definitely worth trying. The accompanying potatoes were not memorable.
Everything else we tried including their cinnamon roll was very good.
Looking forward to returning to try more of the menu.
I wanted to love this spot.
The staff is nice, warm, and accommodating.
We came here for weekend brunch. I ordered the veggie burger on lettuce, and it was missing so much flavor, and was dominated by the fried, oily instead.
I’d return for drinks though because everyone was so damn nice, and it’s a cute spot.
Love this place! Great food, bartenders are cool. Hubby and I got free mimosas with our entree. One of the best low key brunch spots in DC
A decent restaurant bar. We arrived for brunch and their were ample seating. The mimosas came in a regular glass cup. The taste might have been better if it were served in a traditional flute. Had the deviled eggs which were good, but nothing to rave about. The hot honey chicky benny was delectable!
Bounty Stone is a charming neighborhood bar that serves good food and great service. My son had a steak and I had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Eat inside or outside on the front patio.
They have impeccable service, an equally impeccable spirits selection. Kayla our was amazing and made my trip to DC worth it. The food and the drinks were on point. If you are in NW DC check it out. It is well worth the trip.
This pub had a nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. We tried the Irish Coffee, which was not to our liking. The hot chicken sandwich was good. Overall, the bar had a welcoming vibe but the food and drinks we tried weren’t to our liking. Would come here again.
Not bad. The wings were surprisingly small, but maybe that's the size they're naturally supposed to be. I got the gazpacho and deviled eggs, the food is almost too flavorful, I know it sounds weird.
The best customer service experience since Covid started! I got the Honey Hot Chicken for my entrée, which was amazing. As for my drink, I’m pretty specific as to what I like. I asked for the sweetest drink on the menu and my waitress debated with the bartender to create the best drink that fitted me perfectly. Highly recommend this spot!
Food and drinks were very average. The happy hour has some nice deals and it's one of the few spots in DC you don't need a reservation.
The outside is a cute spot to eat. It's pretty dark and dimly lit on the interior.
