BOURBON STEAK reviews
17Nice bar and restaurant in Georgetown inside the Four Seasons hotel. Great place to meet friends for a drink or dinner.
I ordered the Wagyu steak and what I got was unacceptable, firm and chewey, and definitely not wagyu. I returned it to the kitchen. The sides and appetizers are average at best. Our server was terrific, but I am never going back.
Incredible evening at Bourbon Steak to celebrate our 2nd anniversary! The service was over the top and the food was absolutely delicious! The finale of deconstructed s’mores was one of the best desserts we have ever enjoyed! Special shout out to Mouzaffar and Salina who provided us with such incredible service throughout our amazing dinner. Compliments to the chef for an incredible culinary experience and amazing steaks!
Thanks for such a special and amazing evening!
No matter how busy they are, each experience feels like a personal experience. Everyone is attentive and makes sure you feel welcomed.
My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food (steaks were done perfectly). The whiskey selection was top notch, too!
I rarely ever write reviews, however my wife and I had a phenomenal experience at the Four Seasons in DC. The staff were excellent, but we wanted to give a special mention to the bartender, Tinashe. I went in for an after dinner drink and wasn't sure what I wanted and he made us a delicious off menu drink, when he noted our interest in less common rums and happily chatted to us about it and gave great recommendations. On our last night we stopped by the bar late and one employee told us they had closed so were about to return to our room a bit disappointed. The bartender from the first time, Tinashe, recognized us and invited us back just as we were about to leave. He was incredibly welcoming and treated us like old friends. He continually went above and beyond what I would have expected. Fancy hotels are everywhere, but its the service that really counts and we were really impressed on our visit. We can't wait to return!
An amazing dining experience. Being a Friday night, a full restaurant and busy busy busy, it did not stop the amazing staff, from the assistant general manager, my server Sandy to the buser, taking time to greet, serve and check in on this lone diner. Truly giving it a touch of class with a seasonal menu, mouth watering food and wine to match, relaxing ambiance and service with a personal touch. Sorry only got to take one photo at the start, I just wanted to live the experience and not worry about photos. To see more I recommended going yourself.
Been here several times and will continue to go back for the excellent service. The cocktails are fresh and delicious with fun names, and both the inside and outside seating are aesthetically pleasing. Valet at this hotel is always fast and courteous.
Amazing Steak. Amazing Bourbon.even the mac & cheese was good! I have been back a couple of times!
One of the best brunches in town. Professional and attentive service. If you can think it, they will prepare it.
Hey i do not like the food the food is taste like pickles of the fries and the chicken tenders hard on the outside it didnt seem cooked well on the inside the meat was rubbery and the sause is kid of stink
Great service from Aaron and the entire waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The steak, duck fries and Cocktails were superb; the shrimp cocktail was good, but a bit overcooked prior to chilling. I would pass on the Mac and cheese. I would definitely return in the future for other menu options and the ambiance.
I celebrated my birthday at Bourbon Steak which was on my "life list". The service was superb. Any mix-up was quickly addressed and extra attention was given to the resolution. I wouldn't recommend the flank steak. The bone-in ribeye was good, just a tad more season would have made it GREAT! The desserts were excellent.
Biggest problem was service was extremely slow and mediocre. I ordered a diet coke and it was flat in both instances. I asked for canned coke instead. I was still charged for the two flat cokes. When we asked the waiter to let us taste the wine by the glass he hesitated…then rudely agreed to bring out the wine to test it. This is supposed to be a first class establishment. Testing wine before you order by the glass is standard. Filet mignon were overcooked and dry after waiting way too long. Octopus was overcooked. The tip was fixed into the bill (no option for the client to choose the tip) which is fine…but we were not happy with the service so technically we should have had the option to decide what percentage if at all we left to the waiter. Hopefully CUT opens back up again soon. No comparison WHATSOEVER. Two thumbs down.
Very clean, great C-19 protocols, worst seafood tower EVER! Gave us our drinks at 9: 54 and told us we had until 10 pm to finish after a 15-20 minute wait for the drinks. Expected so much better!
It's OK definatly not worth 100$ for dining in. My 45$ 8 Oz steak was burned, and shrimp was nasty and half cooked you also have to pay over 15$ separate for the sides for the meat. Alcoholic Martini Drink was ok. Other than that Atmosphere is very professional, friendly and well dressed. I would give it more than 5 stars for the staff and building.
This restaurant exceeded my expectations. From their Covid protocols and ensuring safety of all individuals to their exceptional service! Dining was outside and it was still phenomenal. They provided comfy blankets and put a big heater next to us:). The truffle Mac & cheese was my favorite, of and the truffle fries also! To die for. And our waiter was the best! He was soo knowledgeable about all the best options on the menu. I just wish they provided free parking. Still awesome.
