Bozzelli's Italian Deli reviews
26Wow, someone in D. C.actually knows how to make food with some flavor and spice! This is an excellent pizza. All the flavor, all the spice. Try a pepperoni with olives or their spicy Hawaiian in either thin crust or hand-tossed. We were visiting D. C.for a week and Bozelli's is the only place we ordered from twice!
Ordered two cauliflower crust pizzas on Memorial Day and they were both delicious! The crusts were cracker like and held the toppings well. I highly recommend the Italian Mamma pizza!
Nice place, clean, neat, pizza was hot n fresh and wings were delicious. The staff was great, and the price point was good
Got the meaty boy, Pizza is only very average I’ve had better! Not any better than dominos or papa johns.
We ordered pepperoni pizza, it was good. Not great. The Mic Mac pizza was the reason we went with 3 stars. It was fantastic! Cannoli wasn’t good and the chocolate cake was very dry and tasted like it was from Costco. Not impressed with that either. Wish we would have order 2 of the macaroni and cheese pizzas and called it a day. Would order again but only for the Mic Mac pizza.
Everything here was great. Really friendly and helpful service. The food was amazing and the prices were great for a family. We did the 2 two topping pizzas, 12 wings and a 2 liter for $30. Everything tasted great and was cooked perfect.
Tried the sandwiches, delicious. Excellent Ruben. Prices are good and the service is very friendly.
Extremely extremely clean surgically Hospital cleaning in the food is absolutely off the chain I must if you going to go Italian
Visited from out of town this week, and tried a Chicken Parm sub just for the heck of it, and all I can say is wow. This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The sandwich was melt in your mouth. I did get it without the pesto sauce nonetheless I was not let down.
Had a bad Chicken parm. Low Quality Chicken. One of the pieces of chicken was really hard. Most of it was good, but I want all of it to be good. I want to add that I have been here before and I normally like the sandwhiches.
It was good food. I had the meatball sub. I'd say it was like four stars for sure. The bathroom was clean and the service was quick. Definitely a decent spot to grab a quick bite. The chicken parmesan looked good too. The sub was way more filling than it looked. I would go again I guess.
Pizza's really good, chicken parmesan sandwich is good, just wish they offered fries with sandwiches.
We went here because it was close by and one of the only pizza shops open before 11: 00. We were not disappointed! The staff is very friendly and the pizza sizes are perfect for sharing with a friend. Good ingredients and an overall delicious pizza experience. 5 stars!
There aren't a ton of options for affordable, non-bourgeois Italian food in the DMV, but this is one of them, and it's downtown at that! Menu is a bit spare but all the sandwich options offered are great, so you can't fault them for that. Decent amount of seating on hand as well.
Great food. The personal pizzas are perfect size and the Metro Italian sandwich was loaded with cold cuts sooo delicious. Try the stuffed peppers if you like a little zip.
Great flavors and customer service. Price is reasonable. Only con is that some of their pizzas can get very greasy.
Friendly service. Great for family trips with picky eaters. Gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
What a cool place to eat - delicious sandwiches and fries. Plus the waitstaff were so friendly and patient when we were trying to decide what to eat.
I thought I wasn't hungry and ate the entire 10" pie! Crust was flavourful had medium thickness. Vegan cheese was surprisingly tasty. 10" pizzas, subs, packaged pasta, varied brownies, bottled drinks, fountain drinks, and t-shirts available. Limited seating for tall people. Despite the joke sign, you can use the bathroom. Just ask for the code. No slices!
