The working environment at Bridgepoint Hospital left much to be desired. Communication within the hospital was lacking, leading to confusion among the staff. It often felt like important information was not properly disseminated, which affected our ability to provide efficient patient care.

In addition, the management style at Bridgepoint Hospital was concerning. There seemed to be a lack of support for staff members, with decisions made without considering the impact on those directly involved in patient care. This ultimately led to a sense of frustration and burnout among the employees.

The resources provided for patient care were inadequate. The equipment was often outdated and in disrepair, making it difficult to provide the level of care that patients deserve. This not only affected staff morale but also compromised the quality of care provided to patients.

Lastly, the overall work-life balance at Bridgepoint Hospital was heavily skewed towards work. The expectations placed on staff members were unrealistic, leading to long hours and minimal time for personal life. This contributed to a high turnover rate and a palpable sense of dissatisfaction among the staff.

While I understand that every workplace has its challenges, the issues I encountered at Bridgepoint Hospital were particularly disheartening. My intention in sharing this feedback is to shed light on areas that require improvement for the benefit of both employees and patients.

I hope that my honest feedback can contribute to positive changes within the organization and lead to a better experience for future employees.

All of my concerns result in neglect on patient care. Hospital needs inspections soon.

If you love your loved one DO NOT send them to BridgePoint NationalHarbor. I gave one star because the food was exceptional My Grandma has been at this place since July 20,2023, and it’s been a nightmare for myself and my family. The staff is negligent and doesn’t want to do their jobs. One day I visited and my Grandma was crying for help (along with her roommate). No one came. She was almost on the floor. We visited daily and my Grandmother received very little therapy. She got the most therapy when I appealed their decision to discharge her (without helping her). The doctors and social workers will not advocate on your behalf when dealing with insurance. I hate this place and I hope to never have to walk those halls again.

The only reason I am giving this facility one star is because a few of those that worked at BHNH cared properly for my father: Dr. Gohari, Dr. Hannsen, Nurse Nelson, PT Brooke and ST Rebecca. My father was admitted to BHNH on Aug. 30,2022 after being released from a trauma center. While in the ICU at BHNH, my father received great care. However, once my father was transferred to the SNF unit, his care and the quality of communication from the medical staff was abysmal (except for the ST, Rebecca-She was amazing!). My father was on a ventilator and the RTs were trying to wean him off so he could we could transfer him closer to home. On Sunday, Nov. 6,2022, when my mother and I went to see him, we noticed he looked terrible. He wasn't alert and his breathing was very labored. We left his room so that the staff could attend to him. Then my mom and I heard, "Rapid Response to room XXX-B. " A few moments later, we heard, "CODE BLUE-Room XXX-B. " My dad was in full cardiac arrest. He was transferred to GWUH in septic shock, where he died a few days later. If you have a loved one at this facility, visit them daily, take notes, ask questions, and do your best to get them to another place.

What a great experience! I must say that I was honestly apprehensive when the hospital referred my cousin to this facility. Like some I felt apprehensive about my cousin being serviced east of the river, which is mainly attributed to the negative press. In spite of the negativity that comes out about the SE/SW area, as BridgePoint stands out as a beacon of light. The staff at this facility is caring, attentive, and always make themselves available whenever we have questions. I must say more specifically, I’m extremely impressed with nurse Elizabeth K, the wound care team and your patient advocate, Ms Rocky. I am so very thankful that BridgePoint has been able to attract such talent to their facility as they continue to make sure my cousin receives the level of care far beyond my expectations. A big thank you and hug.

The patient advocate person I have found to be exceptional better than the ones we’ve had in the past I can’t think of her name right now it might be rocky or Locky but she is good along with Niya and miss Caroline both are good CNAs. However there are a few CNAs that need a retraining program badly. Thank you,
