Buck Mason, Washington DC

I’ve walked by a lot and have been following them on IG. I bought a jacket because they didn’t have the size available in store and was promised free returns. The jacket didn’t fit as I wanted to but I had to pay $6 for return even though the people at the store said that returns are free. I’m surprised by businesses that don’t offer free returns as that seems like a standard practice these days. Will not buy from them again because of it was misleading.

I've been to this Buck Mason location several times since they opened earlier this year and have always had an incredible experience every time! Gary, Joey, and Matt are all extremely friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable about the Buck Mason brand. They are all a big factor in why I've purchased several items and have been very happy with all of them! The customer service at this location is nothing short of excellent!

I've shopped at this Buck Mason location a couple times in the past few months and have always had the best experience! Joey and Matt are both super great and are always more than willing to assist with any requests (e.g, transactions, product questions, online orders). This location's excellent customer service is a big reason why I keep coming back!

I am a big Buck Mason fan, not only for its great products, also for its excellent customer service. Matt and Joey in the Georgetown store are very helpful, very patient. I will be a return customer to the store for long long time!)

There are 3 things that make a great shopping experience: transparency, personability and knowledge. Luckily, for the residents of Washington D. C.and the DMV area, the incredible team of Buck Mason Georgetown possess all of those traits.

Before yesterday, I had never shopped at Buck Mason. A friend recommended I check out their shirts. As I searched the brand, I was surprised to see that there was a Georgetown location. Perfect. Why shop online when I can get the in-store experience?

As I walked inside, I was greeted with a cheerful "Hi! " from Garrick who asked me what I was looking for. I began to describe what I was hoping to find, along with my general sense of fashion/style. Garrick listened and paid attention to every detail I mentioned. He guided me to a shirt that he felt matched my specifications. As I was trying shirts on, Garrick promptly responded to all questions I had and provided alternative sizes for me to try on. As I was hesitating to make a decision, Garrick told me, "I think I have the perfect thing for you, David! " and rushed to the back. Excitedly, he came out with a beautiful shirt (which I'm wearing right now) and explained, "Based on what you were telling me about your style, I thought this shirt would be a great match! ". And he was 100% correct. The shirt exceeded my expectations.

As I finalized my decisions, I met Matt who told me, "I think you're going to be really happy with these. Really solid picks. " He further explained how Buck Mason released a few new pieces every season or so and that sometimes they did not come back in stock. I really appreciated Matt's transparency. I would've regretted leaving without the shirt and come back later, only to find that it was OOS. A third gentleman, Nestor, who was helping another customer, walked up with a huge smile and agreed with Matt and told me that I made great choices.

Garrick, Matt and Nestor were all kind, down-to-earth and attentive. You can tell when people are genuinely passionate about clothing and fashion versus when people are just trying make a dime. From someone who has worked in retail and has a passion for fashion I wholeheartedly guarantee the team at this Buck Mason are the first type of people.

From beginning to end, I felt like my shopping experience was truly *mine*. At no time was I rushed or pressured to decide. I took my time in the dressing room and in the store. I felt truly supported and respected in my thought process/decisions.

The convenience of online shopping is hard to beat. The clothing just arrives at your door without you having to go anywhere. Why go in-person, right? Well, from someone who's been habitually lazy in the past, let me tell you, I will go out of my way to visit this store in-person. The interior of the store is beautiful and incredibly well designed. The team will make you feel right at home.

I went back today to try on a few more pieces. I was met with the same quality service as yesterday. Garrick was once again helpful, quick and attentive. Nestor was just as personable as the day before and shared first-hand experiences and details about various pieces. Matt, cool and calm, helped me feel confident in my decision making and even provided fashion insight that broadened my perspective.

To this fantastic team, once more, thank you for being incredible people and stylists. Not only did you help me leave the store feeling confident about some pretty big purchases, but also, you provided an environment where I felt encouraged and supported. I came in hoping for a solid shopping experience, but ended up having a first-class social AND shopping experience. I feel like I made a new group of cool friends haha.

TLDR: Buck Mason Georgetown is perfectly located and the store itself has a beautiful interior and layout. The team consisting of Garrick, Nestor and Matt are a group of knowledgeable folks who are genuine, patient and professional. I will definitely be back and look forward to my next shopping experience here.

Favorite store in town! It’s more than a store for those who understand the Buck Mason culture…it always feels like coming home in an atmosphere that’s cozy and comfortable and above all very relaxed and welcoming! The clothing is exquisite and the quality is exceptional. Learned about Buck Mason in L. A.and been shopping with them since in stores in Washington D. C and Boston and anywhere they are located. Thumbs up to the best customer service I’ve seen in any store in the Washington D. C area and beyond - thank you Nestor, Garett, Matt, and Joey and the rest of the team! Truly exceptional!

I was in town on vacation for my birthday and had never previously had the chance to shop at a Buck Mason store. I could not have hoped for a better first time customer experience. Gary was phenomenal. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the clothing, and gave great advice about fitting. He couldn’t have possibly represented the Buck Mason brand any better. When I’m in town again I’ll definitely be back to visit this location. Very memorable experience!

Fantastic store and incredibly helpful / knowledgeable staff. Clothes is great quality and worth a visit if you are in Georgetown. They are also pet friendly which is a plus!
