Bullfrog Bagels reviews
18I ordered two egg sandwiches and a baker’s dozen of bagels on Saturday, January 7. I got the baker’s dozen for the work week and never looked in the bag until today, January 9th. Upon my surprise, there were four bagels missing from the baker’s dozen. Unfortunately, I don’t have my electronic receipt from Saturday. Very disappointing that I have to check my bag when I put my trust in the establishment.
Superior bagels for Capitol Hill and definitely near the top for D. C.overall. The bagel to cream cheese ratio is perfect! I am in there multiple times a week at this point. I would have given it 5 stars, but sadly the coffee is terrible and does take away from the visit.
I'm told I don't have authority to rate bagels because I'm not a New Yorker, but I will endorse their sandwiches as delicious hangover food. The Oriole hits a spot.
Best bagels I've had in a very long time - reminds me of Brooklyn bagels in NYC (which in my opinion are the best in NYC) - wish we lived closer!
Amazing bagels had the bacon egg and cheese and sausage egg and cheese on plain bagels really really good.
The staff was super friendly and this location has a lot of indoor seating. Our bagels were good (though on the smaller side), and the veggies inside were super fresh and tasteful
Eat this: Asiago bagel with the chive cream cheese. They are VERY generous with the cream cheese spread. Definitely recommend.
Amazing sandwiches, well worth the wait. Bagels are great. I wish they waited a little longer to cut them. Sometimes a little light on the schmear. Much better than go call your mother, which absolutely sucks.
Excellent pastrami, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Bagels were chewy and coffee was good!
Bagel was amazing. Order and wait lines are generally a bit long but they move pretty fast.
If you want a great bagel experience Bullfrog Bagels is a must visit. Their bagels are on par with NJ/NY style bagels. Just be sure to be prepared for a wait on Saturday mornings, but it will be worth it!
Bullfrog Bagels is doing it right! Absolute quality bagels and spreads with a great staff. They keep the menu simple and not to involved. What they do have they do really well. The bagels are unrivaled in DC in every aspect. Great exterior crust with an airy interior that isn't to dense and has the strength to hold up to whatever smears and toppings you so choose if you choose any at all as the bagels by themselves are AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and start a morning with a Bullfrog Bagel.
Apart from forgetting the pickle and chips I'd ordered (and the water, though I went back for that not realizing there was no pickle or chips either), the salmon in the sandwich had the pinbones left in it, making eating it more.stab-y than I like. Nice people but I can't eat needles.
Today my experience wasn't like my past experiences. Today on 11/5/22 at the 7th st location I ordered a turkey, bacon, egg and cheese on a everything bagel. What I got was avocado with no egg and cheese. I called several times to speak with someone since I has already left the store. So I pretty much wastes $10. Someone should be available to answer a phone call for mishaps
I liked this place till I got a breakfast sandwich with onions on it that has never came with onions before, be carful with what you order they don’t list everything that’s on their sandwiches apparently.
My everything bagel sandwich was very small. Not as plump as a New York bagel. I will try again next time. I hope it's gets better.
Fresh bagels made daily. Relatively priced and a good selection of menu items. Come here pretty regularly. Only negative is turn around time. Can wait up to 15-20 minutes sometimes for any bagel thats not just a cream cheese spread. Wait time isn't really something that prevents me from coming here, however. Highly Recommend if looking for a good breakfast sandwich/bagels
