A good option in Union Market. They've updated their pricing - they used to have a deal for 3 buns, but now it's 2 for $11. The spicy fried chicken isn't very spicy. The pork belly was good! It's a small operation and they're moving fast, so not a lot of interaction with customers.

The guy at the counter was super nice. But I needed 8 buns to eat later tonight. I asked him to put them in components, he refused. I won’t want to eat a soggy bun tonight, but now I will have to.

Maybe just a little coaching on portions would suffice. Not giving this option for carry out is a bad idea. Please fix.

Ordered the fried shrimp rice bowl. Plump and juicy fried shrimp with jasmine rice, cucumbers, kimchi, pickled onions, fried shallots & garlic and scallions with a cilantro lime aioli. Generous portion and all of the ingredients and flavors meshed together WELL!

My husband and I tried a few different buns and they were all delicious! I definitely got full with the servings and 100% will be back for more!

Kev is amazing! We stopped by to get something to eat and he blessed us with amazing food and a kind heart! We love bao buns. These are soft and the meat is seasoned with excellence.

The roof top view at Hi- Lawn made it even better!

The “spicy” fried chicken was soggy, overly sweet, and not noticeably spicy, and the pork “belly” seemed to be pork shoulder. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the food was a let-down. Would avoid.

Experienced pop up at asian american heritage festival. Longest line for a reason these guys are excellent.

I've seen nothing but good things, and they did not disappoint. I ordered six buns, and they were all delicious. My favorite was the mushroom bun and the pork belly bun, so good.

The pork and bulgogi bao was great, the chicken series was so so.

The staff not so friendly but I think there’s just the way he is. So no offense taken.

I've been coming here for years, and they never miss. Their pork belly with pineapple is disrespectful on so many levels (in a great way). They are always consistent, and their food is full of flavors. You get 3 buns for about $14 to $15 and they give you a good portion of protein. 20/20.

I’m a frequent traveler, and I don’t come to DC without visiting Bun’d Up. Its pork belly and beef bulgogi baos are two of the best menu items I’ve eaten in the city — flavorful but not overpowering, filling but not heavy, spicy but not fiery. Even its “PB&J” — cashew butter, granola, and heavenly banana jam — is tell-your-friends-about-it-the-next-day delicious. Do yourself a favor, and if you can eat here? Do it.
