Cactus Cantina reviews
9Used to be a great value with good food. They have raised their prices, and now it is overrated. A pitcher of a medium quality beer was $38. I got the Carne Asada for $31, and it was overcooked and pretty small for that price. The rice and beans had very little flavor, and the onions were raw. It used to be better. Too bad.
Overall experience is magnificent! I love this place. I will be going back before the end of this month!
I've enjoyed this place for over 40 years, it has expanded over that time but remains a great place to go.
The food was okay. The salsa was oddly warm and shockingly bland. It was free, so I suppose I can’t complain too much. The enchiladas were way too sweet and lacking much other flavor. The drinks were good and cheap! Unfortunately my partner and I both got sick the next morning. The only thing we had that day that was the same was dinner here.
I cannot say anything negative about my experience. It was very expensive but the food was worth it drinks were worth it and everything was amazing
We had a large group, and the staff handled it well. They prepared a taco bar, which was fine, but we needed another option. The food tasted good.
The atmosphere fear is nice but the food was just fine. Don’t waste your time ordering the queso. It’s just melted velveeta and for sure not worth $10. My husband ordered tacos and it was just chicken wrapped in a tortilla no cheese. The best thing we had was the salsa and margs.
The food remains delicious and the service, especially, around the bar, has been much better. Huge restaurant with several dining areas including a couple that can be sectioned off for a big group/ party. Lots of outdoor seating as well. It's usually busy but it's worth the trip just for the flour tortillas. If you have gluten intolerance, my apologies. The fajitas (all types) are by far my favorite. The newish brisket tacos and fish tacos are also on my short list. The chimichangas were also good. I also love their chips and salsa. The salsa is a little watery but I still like it more than most restaurants. I'm glad this place has stuck around with all the new restaurants and upgrades to this area.
