Capital Kids Dentistry, Washington DC

We love this practice. The office staff and dental assistants are friendly and professional, the waiting room is perfect for the kids with toys and entertainment, and Dr. Jessica is great with my children, who both love going to the dentist!

The dentists and hygienists are great with kids, the office is welcoming and kid-friendly, and the kids can watch tv while getting their teeth cleaned (which mine love). The dentist always takes time to answer my questions and to show my kids the proper way to brush by using a giant dragon with big teeth. The receptionists are always kind and helpful.

I took my son here and they were patient and understanding to his needs. They could watch tv while getting work done. Also Dr. Gabby explained to use every single step that was done and needed to be done after the work. I love you guys thanks so much for this wonderful opportunity and experience!

Cannot rave about this practice enough. My 2.5 year old had tried other dental offices and we left with a traumatized toddler and zero teeth cleaned/ examined. The team at Capital Kids was so patient and kind to my daughter that she left the office yelling “Yay! ” and couldn’t stop talking about the dentist the rest of the day.

After spending >$3000 for extra's like sealants we had to miss an appointment due to my daughter having a bad cough (that also kept her from school). I was told that they would not waive a $50 fee for cancelation. They do not believe in treating patients fairly. I would pick somewhere else to go for treatment.

Yes it is such a great place for kids. You can watch your favorite cartoon while you get your teeth cleaning. Gentle and patient with kids. Recommend recommend recommend

We’ve been going here for years. In the past some of the front desk staff could be a bit short with the parents, but on our last visit the person working was lovely and very helpful. It is a very kid friendly office with TVs for them to zone out with while getting their teeth cleaned. Dr. Jessica is very friendly and offers good advice to keep the kids teeth healthy. The only thing I don’t love is having to wait in the waiting room while my relatively small children are getting their teeth worked on. If I recall correctly, before COVID, parents were allowed back, but during COVID it was discouraged and hasn’t been allowed to my knowledge since. I’d prefer to be there with them, but they’ve never had an issue or complained. They always get a toothbrush, flossers, and a coin for the prize machine after the visit, so they of course love going. I also like that they take my children together. Overall I would, of course, recommend this practice, but do make sure they take your insurance. It can be pricy out of network.

I love this place! We are always in and out, everything runs smooth and love ladies at front desk too! I don’t even know how Dr. Rubin deals with us, we can be very difficult. Thank you to all of the stuff and I totally recommend them.

Awesome here! TVs on the ceiling for the kids so they're distracted/not scared, worked even for my 2 yro. Kind and patient staff. Quick in and out Good communication with parents. Win-win!

We love this place. We’ve been going here since we moved to DC. My kids are now 14 years old and they still love it. Drs are friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk people are also great.

Amazing! There’s no other place I’d take our children. Professional, comforting with the kids, thoughtful, knowledgeable and all the things you want in a kids’ dentist. We’ve had cleanings and cavities filled both were painless and quick.

Every single person I’ve interacted with has been helpful and friendly. We’ve been going here for 6 years (we actually took a short break for 6 months because our insurance changed but I decided to return anyway - the other dentist we saw was good but not capital kids level good).

Dr. Jessica is a consummate professional and my kids actually look forward to going to the dentist. The TVs in their exam rooms and Sullivan’s Toy store right next door may help a little ;)

Update. Still the absolute best dentist in town but sadly the toy store next door is no more.
