Capital One Café, Washington DC

The service, location, and ambiance are great, but the coffee has always been lacking here. Their nitro cold brew has been broken since 2001, and their mixed drinks are always off by being too sweet, too weak, or something else. It's a great place to get a drip coffee and relax, but I wouldn't go for a tasty coffee.

This is a Peet's Coffee inside a Capital One bank. There's plenty of space to work, study or relax with a very chill vibe. Capital One members get a 50% discount on coffee and such, and the Cafe is runs regular specials. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's an unusual combo, but seems to work.

A wonderful oasis for an afternoon recharge. The space is always clean and orderly. The staff is attentive and I LOVE the Peete's discounts for Capital One customers.

Phoebe has excellent customer service and she has patience staying with me as I was speaking on the phone with the bank to get my card reactivated as the new card was was on its way!

I just requested a replacement card with the help of Capital One Representative Tyrik. He was professional and very efficient and explained how the processed worked. He gets a 10 for Excellent service.

I been thinking about opening an account with Capital one and never got around to it but today i went to the Capital one cafe in DC and met Ambassador and money and life mentor Phebe who walked me through the benefits of opening a checking and savings account and the bonus of getting a fantastic credit card that was well needed. Fantastic customer experience!

It's a great place to sit and do a bit of work or enjoy a drink and watch the people go by. The Capital One staff are awesome and friendly.

Super space for working, tons of natural light, open space, the associates from CapitolOne are incredibly kind and friendly. Be prepared for a cup of coffee that's 50% filled. The baristas are consistently disengaged and always seem annoyed by customers - beyond that, great place.

The Capital One employees are great and very kind! They greet as soon as you enter and are friendly.

As advertised and more! Phenomenal staff at this location! A clean, and friendly environment that promotes getting work done at ease or even sitting down over lunch and coffee. No question, highly recommended!

God Bless you and God afternoon my experience at the Cafe was definitely a blessing first of I was welcomed by the representatives of the the Capital One bank/Cafe with a very warm and heartfelt greeting one in particular I remember because at the time our Heavenly Father God was bringing us through a very challenging
time and my spirits was low I was feeling lost I had just experienced losing my oldest daughter my job had an accident fell injured my knee and broke my phone with dreading what was next I walked into the Cafe an Ms Pheobie greeted me with such a warm welcoming smile that I forgot what was bothering me she has helped me so tremendously with setting up my account and sharing very valuable information to help me get back on track she is always very positive and polite the spirit within her shows brightly on the outside I'm grateful for everything she has helped me with the money and life session and self guides exercise was a blessing.

I am blown away by the customer service here at this locations, it is such a treat to be treated with such kindness! At this point it's more family then anything else. I am very grateful in particular for your Wonderful Phoebe she really stand out from the rest, her warm and welcoming personality is so refreshing. I've seen her interact with each customer that walks in the building as if they are the only ones in front of her. A rare talent. And everyone else is amazing as well the entire staff. I would highly recommend this cafe as a place of refuge amidst the business of the downtown experience. Stop in and enjoy a cup off coffee but also a restful and peaceful experience!

I was greeted at the ATM by Phoebe who held a naturally welcoming and bonding conversation with me. She, then, sat down with me after offering me a café drink and informing me of their Money and Life Mentoring program. We discussed many helpful topics that I left feeling confident and inspired.

Tyrik is an excellent example of customer service. He took the time to help me with a dispute charge on my credit card. JP and Tyrik are the Greatest!

I am A Howard student and stop in regularly to charge my electronics to get back and forth home (I'm local). Tyrik is always so friendly and makes sure to speak and anticipate his customers' needs. I met Phoebe for the first time this past Wednesday and she was also amazing. The Cafe is beautiful and well maintained also which is nice given the state of decay that is Gallery Place.

I visited the Cap One Cafe in Chinatown (7th St NW DC) as a contractor, when I met Phoebe she was patient and understanding. Although I was not a customer, from time to time she would check in to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere inside the Cafe was lively. Seeing the interactions between staff and customers, I can see why it would be easy to make this location a regular place to be. Thank you Phoebe for your kindness and understanding.
