CAVA, Washington DC

Very disappointed with my service today at the Chinatown location! I placed a to-go order a little after they opened so I would beat the rush. I had to wait 15 minutes past my order time for my meal to be ready. There was hardly any customers in the store. Not only did I have to wait, there was hardly contents in the bowl despite ordering all toppings and the pita bread was given 1/4 serving (a whole pita is provided). I have been going here for 4 years, this will be the last time I will ever go here. Any other location in DC has better service than here…

I frequent the CAVA located in the Woodmore Center almost every day…the food is fresh and the service is excellent. Everyone, especially Mirna, is so courteous and always greets me with a smile with my order as I pull up to the drive-thru window.

I'm going to turn into a FALAFEL! It's all I get when I go and the cucumber mint beverage they sell is so refreshing. One of the best options for vegetarians in the area.

As a first time patron, imust say that I was thoroughly pleased. I'll surely be back to continue the broadening of my flavor palette.

Always a great place to get a meal in DC. It's healthy and cost friendly. Does get noisy upstairs of you stay to eat, so hard to have conversation if busy.

It's really great lot of great food options ive been to classier locations in maryland but went with it and tried it out its like a chipotle but better for sure. First time trying their express restaurant id call it. Their falafel bowl was excellent. Everything tasted really fresh. Its worth giving it a try.

My sandwich arrived sooner than estimated but was lukewarm. Felafel is one of those foods eaten immediately after being fried. Even so, the sandwich was delicious. Toppings were generously portioned and extremely fresh and tasty. I also ordered a salad which wasn't as successful - the chicken was gristly and they forgot the accompanying pita.

The cava on 7th st nw customer service is not good. When new customers who never ate there comes in the employee’s rush the customers and does not fully explain what products and services they have and their portions is real skimpy.

I visit this location often because I work across the street and today I walked in and wanted to use the bathroom before I order my food and the manager “Jackie” told me I needed to purchase food first because it’s for customers ONLY!

I explained to her I’ll buy food after I use the bathroom and wash my hands she said that’s not possible because this is CAVA’s policy.

My coworker who’s white said he’s used the bathroom prior to purchasing his food before with no problems and has never been told about this policy.
I am black and my coworker is white.

1 Hour ago: My daughter purchased a salad got home started eating and there was what looked like a live stink bug (pic attached). She immediately went back to CAVA with live evidence requesting a refund, manager refused to refund offered to remake, NO THANKS. Told she needed to file a complaint online. Now as a family we use to frequent weekly. NEVER AGAIN. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE

The food was good but the bathroom soap dispenser did not work. I told the main worker and he did nothing. This makes me wonder how are the employees washing their hands?

A friend suggested this spot while I was here and it did not disappoint! I created my own bowl and it was delicious, the rice was cooked perfectly and the falafel was nice and crisp on the outside. I can't wait to go again!

Very tasty Mediterranean lunch spot with nice views from the second floor of the restaurant. Good sized portions, fresh vegetables, delicious sauces.

Quality food and Reliability from the staff over the past 2 years.
