Omg this place had such a cute vibe and the vegan tacos were AMAZING! I was visiting from out of state and my tummy was SO happy after eating here!:) Highly recommend!

I left DC a few years ago to move to CA. I came and visited DC recently and just had to go here as one of the food places I missed so very much. The kale potato tacos are so good. Be sure to put the arugula cream sauce on top! Felt good after I left because it is healthy food!

This place is great and so cute inside.we tried some tacos and the nachos.healthy and fun veg twist on tacos.

Chaia Georgetown is an excellent restaurant. I go here twice a week. They put the top three famous tacos on the first line of the menu board. If you don’t know how to choose, that’s a good recommendation.

Delicious vegetarian tacos. There is so much flavor packed into each taco. Ordering is easy with tablet ordering. This allows the staff to work on orders. Their system moved quickly and got orders out to the packed restaurant. A great day casual option.

Great food for a good price! I got the taco trio and tried the sweet potato hash, the creamy kale and potato, and the mushroom tacos.all three flavors were tasty (the sweet potato was my favorite) and there was no up-charge for vegan cheese which i loved! Will definitely be stopping by again when i'm in the area.

4-5-23 7pm: Addicted! Worth the effort of parking! Excellent service and exceptional flavors! Highly recommend the mushroom enchiladas and trio tacos! Both are stuffed with ingredients and very filling! This will become a weekly destination for me. Small space with seating available up & down stairs. If the line is long just order online then wait. The staff is quick and organized to get you in and out! Very clean homely space.

I had this place saved on my map for 2 weeks and have wanted to try. I walk past it almost every day.

Well, today I went inside after the lunch rush, about 3: 30pm and no crowds, no lines… quickly ordered and received 3 tacos. Considering the flavors, ingredients and preparation, the cost was justified. As soon as I took my first bite, I knew this place will become a regular stop.

The tacos are vegetarian / vegan, but the flavors are authentic. I’m visiting DC from LA and I used to live in Mexico City. My taco palette is well seasoned and I think I found a go-to east coast fix for my taco addiction.

I got the braised mushroom, creamy kale & potato and the seasonal roasted butternut squash. Additionally, I asked for some spicier salsa. I love the heat and I’ll be asking for even more next time.

For sure drop in here… crowd or no crowd, it’s worth the visit.

Service and location is great! I personally like vegan food that has more protein replacements like seitan or tofu and I didn't see as much of that here. The butternut squash tacos were really great though! Also highly recommend the brussel sprouts quesadilla - the salsa that came with it was awesome.

Delicious vegetarian tacos. Celebrated Vday at Chaia in Georgetown with my daughter who is vegetarian. I ordered the pick 3 tacos for $13- a potato and kale, the butternut squash and a sweet potato and feta tacos washed down with a margarita. I also tried the brussel sprout quesadilla. I would definitely go back again.

Great service, music, ambience + DELICIOUS food. Kale salad is SPECTACULAR. Double up on kale potato tacos. Mezcal paloma? ! Yes, please. Cozy upstairs seating area ideal for meeting a friend. Clean bathroom. Easy to order online ahead. YUM

Fantastic! These tacos are super tasteful and the tortillas are delicious! Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect.

Chaia is a Georgetown institution. I have been coming here for years and the quality and deliciousness have been consistent every time. Its the best spot to drop by for lunch, the creamy kale and potato taco is my favorite. They just added nachos to their menu which are honestly so incredible as well
