Checkers, Washington DC

When I have people visit who don’t live near a Checkers they always want to have to have a Checkers burger. It is what it is, either you like it or you don’t. Most people who don’t have it often seem to like it once in a while.

You guys gotta tighten up. It takes nothing to just read the receipt & make sure Uber eats, door dash, or whom ever has their whole order. Especially when you guys miss the main order which is the drinks or dipping sauce which makes the food better. Come on guys tighten up. U guys make it harder on the drivers.

These people are rude and slow as hell! I do not recommend and I can say it load I hate this place. Pfff

My first time having a truly nice and mature person on the speaker (an older gentleman) and a nice girl at the window. Usually they are impatient taking your orders and get them wrong. Then have an attitude because you ask them to correct it. But those two were exceptional and have Checkers back as a family favorite now.

The after hours crew (midnight and after) are HORRIBLE. Won't answer at the window, slow at the drive through, no customer service skills, attitudes, and the workers will converse amongst each other with customers waiting and while serving customers which is extremely unprofessional. The ownership or management need to do better. If you are going to be open those hours then you need to be able to fully function and preserve professionalism throughout the day. They all including the owner needs to watch some Chick Fil A training videos.

I love coming here after a concert at 2am! They're always friendly and the food is constantly fresh. Service may be slow with so many customers at that time, but they never get my order wrong!

I drove to this place 20 minutes to hear at 2.50 (10 minutes before the closing time) that they are close. Disappointing

The drive-thru speaker was so bad and at such a high volume that is was like being stabbed in the ear. The lady taking the order was so intent on speaking as quickly as possible that the speaker couldn't keep up and get words were continuously cut off. I would say she was rude too. But honestly, the speaker was so bad and her speech unintelligible that I couldn't say. Went to another location a short drive away, had no issues and a very friendly experience

Was absolutely desperate for food late at night after a long workday and Checkers was the only place open. They didn't have the first three menu items I asked for including any chicken sandwich, a milkshake and. I think it may have been tots? I forget, but arrived starving and left unsatisfied.

Nice quality and such good food my dad ordered a large meal and they didn’t put nothing small good burgers and fries

Terrible place! They close at 4am but they don’t get orders and they are seeing us and don’t care about.

The appearance of the place wasn't to welcoming. Nor was the workers I think they can tidy up the outside a bit. They did manage to get the food out on time but I payed 21 dollars for 2 large meals kinda expensive seeing the burgers weren't anything like in the menu.

I love This PLACE, food is always hot and good, great customer service, and oh, yeah, the food don't be all greasy ️

Going through the drive thru, one of the employees working the drive thru made very inappropriate comments and advances toward my girlfriend.

Better then standard fast food places. Cardboard straws don't work in thick and delecious milk shakes

I like the wiked swirl strawberry vanilla mix ice cream, they definitely don't skimp on the mix. This review is just for the ice cream
