Chinatown offers some of the best flavors of DC for foodies. Many great local businesses to support. Often busy, metro accessible, does have parking garages just depends on what makes you most comfortable. Plenty of things to do and sights to see.

I'm from Arkansas and I visited Chinatown not a week ago yet. The food was excellent. I wish I had lots more. Hate I didn't get more before I returned home. #Chinatown

Amazing. Parking is expensive 30.00 after 3 hours. But good central location and it's covered. No cell service down there. Elevator brings you into the shopping area.

A quiet taste of Asia in the middle of DC. I arrived in the morning on a Sunday before most of the shops and restaurants opened. The gate was beautiful and the splashes of Eastern architecture among the buildings was nice to look at. My highlight was the Kura Sushi Conveyor restaurant that brought back fond memories of my time in Japan. They even greeted customers in the traditional Japanese way!

Wok and Roll is one of the few restaurants that survived the pandemic. Shrimp and broccoli was delicious and service was quick and food was hot! Adding this to my list of favorites!

More overpriced than before and definitely more touristy. Difficult to find reasonable parking. Go to Cao for authentic flavors and ok prices.

As an Asian, I found this place mostly offensive. Sure, there are a few authentic shops and spots, but the most of the area is just white person chain restaurants and stores, but they have a mandarin translation under it. Everything was just normal stuff you would find in a completely white city, but because they can hire someone to write their name in mandarin, it's ok to appropriate my culture and say they're part of Chinatown.

Queen lindo! What a nice place to visit in Washington DC.

I loved all the beautiful buildings here and all the restaurants and shops here too.

We got our boba tea here and end up going to the portrait museum too.

I love the resturants and cute little shops, my only gripe is that it has shrunk in size over the years to only a handful of stores and places to eat. The recent pandemic and gentrification of the area has almost killed its vibe. Come and enjoy it while it lasts before it gets some stupid name like "verizon plaza"

I randomly got harrassed and tortured by the us government. They used a weapon they called the 3 stones. They said it had a stone that emits a signal at the heart of the weapon.

Please call the police everywhere if you know what this is.

I went to Gallery Place here, 8 years ago. Very good place to have the BEST Chinese food in DC! The friendship archway is very beautiful! DC’s Chinatown is not like the Chinatowns of SF and NYC, but it still has quite a bit of gems to offer! Chinatown is just minutes away from CityCenterDC, an awesome place to shop till you drop! I recommend all tourists to visit Chinatown during the day because the neighborhood can get very dangerous at night, making it one of the most dangerous places in the District of Columbia. Conveniently located just moments away from cool museums, the Capital One Arena, and the FBI headquarters!

I love passing through this section of town, also I love to see other cultures. I found out that I was born in the year of rabbit. I was collecting rabbits and I didn't know why until probably 30 years ago. I had went to a Chinese restaurant there in Chinatown, and there were placemats that had the Chinese New Year's shown on the placemat. That's when I found out I was born in the year of the rabbit and that is why I was collecting rabbits. Yeah

Great place to be, there is a lot going on. Best Chinese restaurants: Full Kee, Tony Chen's. There is a Walgreen and the Art Gallery is really cool. The Starbucks is there and Dunkin Donuts as well. Chipotle and McDonald's and for white table clothe two restaurants to choose from. Also DC Chinatown has a Chinatown Chinese New Year parade every year with lots of firecrackers. Chinatown Culture has great Chinese resources, learn Chinese, play Chinese games, observed live Lion Dance performances. A great staff, clean restrooms, located inside the same building as the movie theater.

Love Coming here to have Pho (Vietnamese soup) lately I have lucked out on parking. I would have given a 5 stars but as slow as this area is cause of covid the streets should have been a lot cleaner. I did see a few street sweeper as they walked by some trash that was in front of they they were to busy talking to each other and not cleaning.
