Churreria Madrid reviews
9 Very good and very rich everything
I even had the opportunity to work there and it was great.
My husband was very excited to try this place on his first trip to DC. He is originally from Sevilla and has a hard time finding Spanish food where we live. We were staying in the convention district so before we made our way to AdMo I checked multiple online sources to confirm their hours. We arrived during the published open hours to find it closed.
10/10 churros
I don’t give it 5 stars anymore because the hours they open and close are different everyday, very inconsistent. Probably why they don’t get as many people as they would if they were consistent.
I stopped coming in here when I noticed they have a big picture of Bukele right by the entrance (a dictator). The food was alright, I’ve definitely had better Spanish food elsewhere.
Have tried going twice, once the week of thanksgiving and the second time on 27 December, at different times of the day, and it has been closed both times. Am I missing something? Is this place still open?
We came here for late night Churros cravings - the churros were fresh and tasty and inexpensive. We ordered them to go - perfect for sweet cravings late at night.
The food was good, but the atmosphere has gone down. There was also a roach on the counter where they put the food for pickup.
I only went for the Churros with chocolate! They were delicious (very similar to what you can find in Spain and South America) but they need to improve the chocolate
Just say DON'T go. It's probably a cover for another type of "business"
