Compass Coffee reviews
15Never been to a coffee spot that asked me how I spelled my name. This craziness might have made my weekend. And the almond butter latte is deliciousness. Great vibes here! What a lovely early rainy morning experience!
This is the best gourmet coffee I’ve ever had. Rich and creamy. A bit too sweet but great tasting of the coffee. Pastries made fresh.
Great drinks served by amazing baristas and the ambiance is perfect. Always enjoy my visits, I wish I could go more often but I am only around during weekend days.
Big fan of Compass on 7th but writing to ask management to please repair sink faucets that leak a lot of water.cannot find instructions on how to contact company directly on website.noticed this problem previously and really surprised to see same problem.so much unused water from faucet goes down sink.thank you.
Cute coffee shop I stumbled across walking around the city. They have breakfast items as well as drinks. Wide variety of coffee, teas, & juices. The cashier was very helpful in me picking what I wanted. I tried the Matcha lemonade & it was pretty good. I prefer plain matcha but this was a nice mix to it. I’ll have to come back to try their other drinks.
My favorite coffee joint everrr! Each location just has great people, the best tasting coffee of course, and good vibes.
When I come here the employees know how to make a perfect coffee drink, on point, every time. Consistency is my favorite too, especially when you pay good money for a carefully crafted beverage. Always making a trip to the closest compass! Thanks!
This was my first visit to a Compass Coffee but definitely not my last. My peach/mango drink and cheddar/chives scone were amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The vibe was really chill and comfortable. People were working, some were chatting with friends and others were in and out.
The 7th St, NW location left such a positive experience, I can’t wait to check out other locations!
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Hands down Compass has the best nitro brew. This location is the one that I go to most. The staff is friendly, professional, prompt and service is quick. Their coffee is phenomenal and I also love their breakfast sandwiches. Definitely the best coffee shop in the downtown DC area.
Love this neighborhood spot. Staff are friendly, the coffee is pretty good, and the atmosphere/seating is great for getting work done and studying most days if you don’t want to work from home!
Went there every day during my stay in Washington because it was one of the best coffees I've had!
I hadn't heard of this place, but I happened to be in the neighborhood, and I stopped in just before they closed. I tried the Tumeric Honey latte and a piece of crumbcake. Both were fantastic, as was the service. Both barristas invited me to come back again during morning hours so that I could experience what the atmosphere was like when it was full and busy. I will definitely come back for breakfast. I'm glad I found this great café.
Update: I came back today for another Tumeric Honey latte and a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, and the latte is still fantastic.
The place is not busy; the people who are still here are working on their laptops, but everyone looks happy and calm. This feels like a great place to get some work done out of the office.
Great coffee and super nice and friendly staff!:) For the past few years I go to Compass to get my resuable Compass Coffee cans refilled with the best, freshly ground coffee in DC.
Girl at the front was kinda rude and seemed to be upset or annoyed. (Pink and blue hair girl)
Compass always gets from me for decent coffee, a solid remote working space, and some basic commitment to sustainability (bring back your cannisters for refills!).
